This brown sugar scrub uses our new Emulsified Base for Scrubs. We have done the work for you - all you need to do is add the scrubby part. Brown sugar has a slightly rougher texture than granulated sugar so we recommend using this on arms, legs and feet. It is a little too harsh to use on the face. The base contains Olive and Sunflower Oils along with Shea Butter to make this a very moisturizing exfoliant.

Step 1

Weigh and add Emulsified Scrub Base to a large mixing bowl.

Step 2

Using a hand mixer, whip product for 30 seconds.

Step 3

Gently stir in small amounts of sugar with spoon or spatula until they are well incorporated. If a thicker product is desired, more sugar can be added.

Step 4

Stir in fragrance oil and preservative until blended.

Step 5

Fill jars with approximately 4 oz. of product and place lids on jars.

Step 6

Label product accordingly.

To Use

To Use: Massage onto wet skin using a circular motion. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. May need to be stirred slightly before use.  Not recommended for use on face.
