Smells like the original

"The original Bath & Body Works Fresh Ginger Lime was from the early 2000s, and was part of a line that also included Lemongrass Sage, Water Blossom Ivy, and Cool Citrus Basil. Once diluted, this smells just like the original Fresh Ginger Lime. Fresh and citrusy lime with a hint of ginger, without becoming too ginger or bitter. Works just fine in the melt & pour soap base I used (the premium clear), and in the other products I made. So glad to have access to this scent again. I tried the Cool Citrus Basil and Lemongrass Sage, and they smell like the original Bath & Body Works versions also. 0"

Nice fresh scent!

"This scent is a must have! Customers love how fresh it is and the slight discoloring is VERY manageable. The bars I make with this fragrance are layered so I don't know how it would work with swirls. I love the scent so much that I had to create a few different bars with the same scent! All of them do really well. Hope WSP keeps this one is stock!"

Great Scent

Great Spa Scent!

"Really nice scent. I am going to get a big bottle, and make a whole line in this fragrance, including one of each for myself. It has a fresh but also warm quality to it. Working with fragrances all the time, I am picky and sensitive to most, but this one is really pleasant. I added a little Ginger Essential Oil, and a little Lime Essential Oil to deepen the fragrance, and it made it a really spectacular Spa Fragrance, perfect for the Salt Scrub I made. This fragrance got great reviews from our customers!"

Q&A

can i zest lime or ginger to add to my soap?
We have not tested our products using fruit or fruit rinds, peels, etc. There would be some concern about the fruit molding or growing bacteria. Adding preservatives will not guard fresh produce from mold growth.
does a low flash point mean it might flash off during gel phase of cold processing?
I have never had a fragrance oil ignite or combust in soap during gel phase, but you can choose not to insulate your soap if you like. That will bring your overall temperature down.
does a low flash point mean it might flash off during gel phase of cold processing?
Flash point has nothing to do with how a fragrance works or holds inside of soap. It's about how dangerous the oil is when approached by a flame.
does a low flash point mean it might flash off during gel phase of cold processing?
Flash point is simply the point at which it may ignite when exposed to a flame.
does a low flash point mean it might flash off during gel phase of cold processing?
Some people use flash point to determine if they should gel or not gel their soap. If you're unsure, just place your soap in the freezer overnight, than let it sit out for a couple days. Soap takes longer to become firm enough to cut when it doesn't gel, but it will help to ease any concerns you have about how heat might impact your fragrance.
