FADES & ACCELERATES IN CP SOAP

"Out of the bottle it smells good, however in cold process soap it accelerates FAST even when soaping at low temp. The scent is completely gone 24 hours later after pouring. Really bummed."

Scent completely fades in cold process

"Smells great out of the bottle but smell completely fades in cold process. I will have to sell it as unscented. Used at the recommended dose with a recipe I've been using over 5 years."

Sells out every summer!

"Island Nectar - exfoliating scrubI've purchased this fragrance a few times and each time I advertise it as available, our scrubs sell out in record time. I'm not very good at describing flavors, and this one trips me up every time. Sorry. It is floral, it is sweet and has a tiny bit of a citrus bite' but not too much of either. To me, it is a great blend of all and the smell lingers on your skin for a while which is really nice. Our customers buy this one in our largest containers every spring/summer and we've got a handful that are on autoship for it. Definately a favorite!"

LOVE!!

"Absolutely Love this fragrance! It has a nice light floral and clean scent with just a hint of fruit. I am not overly fond of floral scents generally, but this one hits the mark!"

Q&A

Is there an EU Allergen document for this fragrance? I noticed a few of the fragrances I've purchased don't have an Allergen doc...
This document is available upon request. You can reach our customer service team by clicking on the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page.
Would these fragrance discolor? Does it need vanilla stabilizer for CP or MP? Thanks.
We recommend using the stabilizer for any amount of vanilla, even as little as 1%, as in this fragrance. With this small a percentage, it will take longer for it to discolor, but it eventually will.
Am making cold process soap which is all together 49.80 oz. How many ounces of fragrance should I use?
We normally recommend adding fragrance at 6% or 1 ounce per pound of your total recipe weight.
Can this be used in candles??
Crafter's Choice fragrance oils can be used in candles. You need to check the manufacturers directions for your particular wax to know how much to safely add.
In the listing for maximum usage/exposure percentages, under what category would bath bombs/fizzies fall under. I'm calculating my percentages & want to make sure that I'm using a safe amount. I'm assuming that I would follow the amount for soaps/body washes, but I wanted to make sure.
Great question!!IFRA defines these as "Bath Gels, Foams, Mousses, Salts, Oils & other products added to bathwater". This is their identified category 9A which is the soap category as soap. So you can go by the soap percentage for recommended maximum use level.
