A little for a lot

"I thought this would be worth it but after making it, I don't think so. It's a lot of ingredients, which is fine, but it takes more than an hour to make because you have to let it sit overnight in the fridge before you can finish it. And the amount of fragrance it calls for you can barely smell in the finished product. You have to cook this in a saucepan, and it NEVER simmered like they said it should have, and the aloe Vera does NOT MIX into the rest of the oils at all. It just sits in a glob at the bottom of the pan, crackling. After I had it done overnight, I remelted it and added a bit more fragrance, and with remelting it and rewhipping it, I lost an entire jar of the stuff somehow so only ended up with 4 jars instead of 5. And for only 1 oz jars, at suggested retail of $10. 95, I wouldn't ever pay that myself. Just seems a bit high for so little. I probably won't make this again unless people really think it's something special."

Q&A

If my product comes out too hard, what can i add to soften it? And do I need to remelt it to add the extra ingredient? or can i just scoop it back out of the container and mix again until fluffy?: You can add some extra oil or incorporate a softer butter into it. We do not recommend reheating, but just whipping the chosen ingredients in.
What can I substitute for the aloe gel? I have a customer who is allergic to aloe. Thank you: Unfortunately we do not have another gel to sub this for. You can try subbing for an oil or a soft butter, but the end result and consistency will vary.
