Brown Sugar and Oats Body Scrub Recipe

Grind 0.5 lb. or 8 oz. of the oat scrub in a food processor until a powdery consistency. Set aside.

In a microwave-safe mixing bowl, add walnut oil, stearic acid and emulsifying wax. Heat in microwave until waxes have melted. Stir contents with wire whisk to blend.

Add shea butter and let melt into warm oil. Once melted, blend again with whisk.

To a microwave-safe measuring cup, add 4 oz. of goat milk soap base. Heat in microwave until melted. Add to oil/butter mixture and stir.

Add oat scrub and brown sugar and mix well.

Follow with remaining ingredients: castor oil, glycerin, vitamin E, fragrance and preservative. Mix well.

Let product cool completely before packaging into jars. Product will separate slightly, so be sure to mix well before spooning into jars. Apply lids.

Label accordingly.
