Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron, workspace and sanitized equipment.
- Recipe can easily be cut in half to make 11 lip balm tubes, if desired.
- Using a plastic beaker, add 1 oz. Beeswax, 0.80 oz. Coconut Oil, 0.55 oz. Sunflower Oil, 0.40 oz. Soybean Oil and 0.40 oz. Canola Oil.
- Heat this in microwave in 30 second bursts until the wax has melted.
- Add 0.20 oz. Lanolin* and stir until melted. Scrape sides as product cools and stir back into heated balm.
- Let cool to 160°F then add 2 ml Flavor Oil and 1 ml Vitamin E. Stir to blend.
- When mixture cools to 150°F, pour into 22 lip tubes filling to the top. If product starts to harden up while pouring, place back in microwave until mixture melts enough to pour.
- Let product cool completely before adding caps.
- Label product accordingly.
To Use: Apply to lips as needed.
* Do not use lanolin if allergic to wool products.
