Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
- To the metal pot, add the beeswax, butters and all oils (except fragrance).
- Heat until completely melted.
- Remove from heat, add fragrance oil and mix with a spoon.
- Add 2-3 drops of EZ color yellow, mix well.
- Once mixture has cooled to 160°F, pour equally into 12 cavities of mold. Let cool.
- Pop bars out of mold and package in paperboard jar.
- Label product accordingly.
To Use: Rub into dry skin as needed.
Lip Balm Option: Follow above recipe but substitute 0.10 oz. flavor oil for fragrance. Recipe will make (20) 0.3 oz. lip balms.
