About This Recipe:

Make (4) 8 oz bottles of luxurious Rose Body Wash. We start with Crafter’s Choice Shower Gel base, and add all the rose additives we could find! You’ll love the Rose Water Hydrosol, Rose Hip Extract, and soft Wild Rose fragrance oil. This kit is perfect for spring!

Recipe Ingredients:

Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

Equipment From Home:
• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Microwave Safe Measuring Cup (64 oz)
• (1) Spoon or Spatula

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. In plastic beaker, mix .50 oz. fragrance with 0.50 oz. Polysorbate 20. Let sit for two minutes. 
  2. In a large glass bowl or measuring cup, empty 32 oz. of Shower Gel.
  3. Add .35 oz. of Rose Water Hydrosol.
  4. Add 0.25 oz.of Rose Hip Extract mixture.
  5. Add drops of Stained Glass Apple Color to shower gel and stir.
  6. Add fragrance mixture and stir well.
  7. Fill 4 bottles with 8 ounces by weight. Pour any remaining mixture between bottles and apply caps.
  8. Repeat above steps to fill remaining 4 bottles.
  9. Label product accordingly.
To Use:  Massage onto wet skin. Rinse with warm water.
