It does not re-open

"Sorry this one is a big miss. 1. It does not re-open. If you close it too tight, it literally gets stuck. I have used many different jars before and you are able to close them up tight and they will still come undone with no effort. These when turned to the point of a ""click"" sound happening, they lock into place2. The top lid has an ugly groove that makes it a little hard to put a label on top unless the label is too small"

Soap is good but instructions not

"I followed the instructions but last minute altered the peppermint and essential oil amount and cut it in half. It still smells too strong and irritates my eyes. Soap lathers well."

Do you know how this container will react to lye? I was looking to use it for transporting soap to make it easier for travel.: We would not recommend directly adding lye to the container. Packaging a bar of soap on this container is perfectly safe.
