Q&A

We use these jars for our magnesium creams and LOVVVE them but I had another maker mention that my plastic containers were not safe for anything with fragrance or essential oil scented body products!! She said they would leach toxic chemicals into my product! Are these safe? Do I need to switch to glass?: Per our website on the page it states that this container is made out of PET plastic these are generally considered safe for most cosmetic products, including those with essential oils, because they are resistant to degradation.
Will 1.5 inch high by 6 inch long strip label type work with these jars?: This label will fit the jar. It will not wrap all the way around the jar.
Which press and seal liner fits these jars?: This jar requires an 89/400 closures which uses an 89mm liner.
Do these come already clean and ready to use or do they need to be cleaned and can they be put in the dishwasher?: The jars are ready to use. It would be your personal preference if you would like to clean them or not before use. We do not recommend using with a dishwasher.
What size label will fit best on the top of the jar?: If you are asking what size label to use on the lid, it would depend on which style lid you will be using. Most 89/400 lids will work with a label no larger than 3 inches in diameter. Jar label suggestions are on the jars webpage in the "related products" section.
