Crafted with a delicate banana flower design, this melt and pour soap recipe brings together elegant artistry and gentle cleansing in a beautifully handcrafted bar.

Directions

Place the shea butter MP soap on your cutting board. Cut it into small pieces using the soap cutter.

Add the base to the funnel pitcher. Melt the soap in 30-second intervals, stirring in between each 30-second burst. Melt the soap only until it is in a fluid state.

Add 0.5 oz. of the Floral and Banana Fragrance Oil. Stir.

Pour 2 oz. of the melted soap into each cavity of the silicone square mold. Spray the soap with alcohol to remove any air bubbles.

To the remaining soap, add just a very small amount of the yellow dye block. Stir.

Pour the soap into the silicone flower molds. Spray the soap with alcohol and allow the soap to set up before removing it from the mold.

Cut up 25 oz. of the clear melt and pour soap base. Again, melt in 30-second intervals only until the soap is in a fluid state.

To the clear melted soap, add 0.5 oz of the Floral and Banana Fragrance Oil.

Spray your previous layer of soap with alcohol. This will help the layers adhere to each other. Pour 3 oz. of the clear soap into each of the six cavities of the square mold. Spray with alcohol to release air bubbles and allow the soap to set up.

Remelt the clear soap base. Spray the soap in the mold with alcohol. Divide the remaining soap equally between the six cavities.

Place one of the flowers on top of each soap. Once the soap has set up, remove it from the mold.
