Can you use a heat gun to seal the foam liner?: No, the foam liner will not seal a container. We recommend getting a Press & Seal Liner to seal containers.
Are these recyclable after use?: We do not believe these caps can be recycle. But, you can check with your local recycling center to see if they would accept this.
Do you plan on getting in the 89/400 silver metal top cap?: We have passed your request on to our Purchasing Department. They will need to check to see if this cap is available in this larger size.
I love these liners and they go with the type of look I'm going for. I wanted to use these for my foaming whipped scrubs on plastic containers but realized will these lids rust if used in the shower?: Yes, these lids may rust if they come in contact with water for a long period of time.
Do these leak? I have been using the smooth black plastic lids and I have a real problem with leakage with me sugar scrubs.: Scrubs can be hard to keep from leaking. All lids should fit about the same. You might try using a press & seal liner on the jar along with a shrink band. Be sure to clean off the rim with alcohol and let dry before applying liner.
