Activated Charcoal - Granular

Charcoal too coarse & doesn't dissolve

"I try to order everything that goes into my soaps (other than a couple of oils available at the local grocery) from reputable soap suppliers to make sure that the ingredients are authentic and high quality. Imagine my surprise when this activated charcoal arrived and the consistency/texture is closer to table sugar or salt than the fine powder I was expecting. This is more like the charcoal I would expect for aquarium usage. I tried to use it but it's just not soap friendly. It doesn't dissolve smoothly into the oil, glycerin, water, soap batter, or M&P soap base. Hoping to find another use for it. Most things I've purchased from Crafter's Choice/WSP have been excellent quality. Unfortunately, the activated charcoal was quite disappointing."

Large grain - can't use

"I thought this was salt when I opened it. Large grains like a chunky sea salt and cannot grind down into powder. It is very hard and too rough to use an exfoliant. This one goes in the garbage."

Charcoal granules too large and not dark black

"The charcoal I received needed and mortar & pestle to use in my CP soap and for masks. The grains were too large. The color also isn't a deep rich black like coconut-derived charcoal. Disappointed and had to buy elsewhere as there is no option for a more powdered charcoal product from WSP."

"I Wanted a fine powder, but they didn't offer any in stock. This was all they had for activated charcoal. It's too thick and too grainy. I have to grind it down myself which makes a huge mess. Definitely , will not be buying this again."

Beautiful

"Used it in my face wash recipe and absolutely love it! Only down fall was it was not as dark in person as in the picture and I was hoping to add natural color to the face wash. Still recommend"
