Directions:

DIRECTIONS: Slowly stir melted product into the oil portion of your formulation. Common use levels are lip products 5-100%, cold process soap 3-6%, lotions and creams 3-5%. Can be applied directly to the skin.

TIPS: The average melting point for the butter is 91°F. Butters provide moisturizing properties to products. To minimize greasy after feel we recommend blending with 1-3% cornstarch or isopropyl myristate. Test your final product to insure optimal performance.

STORAGE: Store in an airtight, cool, dark location. When stored properly, best used within 1 year from date of purchase.

CAUTION: For external use only. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Staff Answer Butter blends are usually softer because they are blended with sweet almond or hydrogenated vegetable oil.

Sort of like a whipped shortening. It will melt on skin contact, but is much thicker than an oil and is more of a solid at lower temps.

This is a soft wonderful butter that blends into the skin very nice it soaks in rather quickly and the smell is devine. It has a strong lemon smell. no fake or cleaning smell Thank you Tracy

"Perfect for my project & SO MANY others too!"

COMMENTS: I truly love how WSP allows you to buy a little bit of something or a lot, depending on your needs! Came across WSP's recipe for "Soothing Shaving Cream" and since this was a gift for my husband, I didn't need a ton of it. The price was great, and having this aloe butter blend in the recipe makes it all the more skin-loving! Melted down with ease & incorporated into WSP's Foaming Bath Whip base effortlessly! Prior to using in the recipe, I rubbed some into my skin to see how absorbent it was & it's wonderful! It has zero odor and is a softer butter, so it melted just with the heat of my skin, felt soothing rubbing it in, absorbed quickly & left my skin feeling soft & moisturized! Should've gotten more because I can think of a hundred more uses for this gem! Call me a total dork, but I loved the little jar this came in too! I was expecting it to come in a small bag & was pleasantly surprised to receive it in a nice, mess-free little jar instead (thanks WSP!). A little goes a long way too, so I had extra after I finished my project. On my "off wash" days, I usually use a little jojoba/wax/FO blend to work into the very tips of my hair to ease frizz and add texture & shine. I got to thinking tho, so I melted the rest of this aloe butter down, added a few drops of my fav FO ("Pink Amber & Vanilla"), allowed to re-solidify, and this works AWESOME on the tips of my hair without adding any heavy wax to my locks. Literally, just the teeny-tiniest amount will do the trick, and this has changed my haircare regimen for the better! Without a doubt, I'll be back for more as already I'm thinking of So many other projects this will do wonders in! LOVE IT!

"BEWARE!"

COMMENTS: Dont be fooled like me, I actually thought this was a butter but its really just coconut oil with aloe extract. I tried whipping this into its own body butter and kept wondering why it wasn't staying firm and getting fluffy. Then I came and check the ingredients....Oh well its still an ok product very moisturizing to say the least and will be great to add to other actual butters like shea or mango butter.

COMMENTS: I love this butter! It is so easy to add this to lotions! Definitely not me. With this butter you have aloe and coconut oil combined. Its just so perfect an easy for someone who wants to add aloe to their concoctions. Very silky and adds another extra moisturizer. Great on its own too. I absolutely love it. Again, I think WSP should offer a smaller sampler of their butter mixes. Of course I always purchase the smaller size first and then I end up coming right back for more with all of them!

COMMENTS: I really didn't know what to expect as far as fragrance when ordering this blend. It doesn't have a fragrance at all. It also whips nicely for my body butters, feeling luxurious! I needed a good coconut based butter that had a soothing additive for a cream I make.. this def. fit the bill and I've had wonderful reviews on my product ever since adding it. I like that it has little to no fragrance and comes in easy to use 1 lb. containers even when buying in bulk.. easier to work with IMO than the big bags.
