Our Artisan's Perfume Base was formulated especially for crafters. This dynamic base allows you to create many high quality perfume blends and not worry about HAZMAT shipping & fees or an ATF license. Create eau de toilette (15%-18%), eau de parfum (19%-22%), and perfume (23%-28%) with this base using up to a maximum fragrance load of 30%. This base is ready to use and does not require any additional ingredients other than fragrance and/or essential oils.

Create eau de toilette (15%-18%), eau de parfum (19%-22%), and perfume (23%-28%) with this base using up to a maximum fragrance load of 30%.When crafting perfumes with this product, please allow time for the alcohol note to macerate (soften and waste away) - this may take anywhere from 1-3 days. Industry standard for commercial perfumes is 30 days. You can use this base at 5% in your vegetable oil based perfumes to add a cooling effect and aid in evaporation. Note: Natural waxes contained in FO's and EO's can solidify in this base if the product becomes too cold. Prevent and eliminate this problem by cooling and filtering prior to end use and/or sale.

"I ordered 2 bottles of this at the same time. The first bottle I used worked as expected. No abnormal discoloration from this bottle, minus the expected tan/browning due to vanilla. The second bottle I opened has been causing the finished perfumes to turn greenish blue. I have never experienced this out of any perfume bases i have tried. my perfume bottles haven't changed, and I have washed and sanitized them to ensure the green wasn't due to something from the factory in the bottles. I have tried it with different fragrance oils, and fragrance oils that didn't turn green with the first bottle of base. It is really odd and now I'm stuck with products I can't sell. I wonder what happened to the second bottle i have to make the finished products turn blueish green. It seems like something was added that is reacting to the fragrance oils. attaching pictures to show the normal bottles of perfume from the first opened base (tan, brownish ones) and the blueish green ones made from the second bottle of perfume base."

Q&A

Should I be adding Poly 20 to the FO’s before using this to maintain clarity? Also, how does one cool and filter to make sure it doesn’t solidify? I’m not sure how to do that. Thanks!!: You can add FO & EO Modifier to the fragrance to keep the product clear. Some Essential Oils may naturally contain moisture and occasional clouding may occur due to insolubility. You can simply strain out any solids once cooled.
Do you have a perfume base that is natural and non-hormone disrupting?: We don't currently carry an all-natural perfume base. We recommend reviewing the ingredients for our Botanical Hydration Face & Body Mist to determine whether it may meet your needs.

Why are the oils settling at the bottom of the bottle no matter how hard I shake and mix it up? It instantly all falls down to the bottom and it's very cloudy: Please contact customer service for further assistance.
