FOR LIP PRODUCTS: Melt beeswax in double boiler or small pot on low heat. Once melted, add solid butters. Remove from heat. Add liquid oils and flavor oil. Mix well. Pour into lip tubes, small jars or other lip product packaging. FOR LOTION BARS: Melt beeswax in double boiler or pot on low heat. Once melted, add solid butters. Remove from heat. Add liquid oils and fragrance. Mix well. Pour into mold or lotion bar container at an appropriate temperature for mold or packaging. Allow mixture to solidify. FOR AIR FRESHENERS: Melt equal parts beeswax and palm kernel flakes (102º melt) in a small pot on low heat. Remove from heat. Incorporate fragrance. Pour into mold at an appropriate temperature for the mold. Allow mixture to solidify. Unmold and enjoy. FOR CP SOAP: Use at about 1-3% of your oils and calculate with your oils in a lye calculator. Beeswax has a high melt point so raise the temperature of the oils to about 160ºF or 170ºF before mixing it in. It is necessary to soap hotter, around 120ºF, and be prepared for accelerated trace.

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Use caution when melting—hot wax may cause burns. Keep out of reach of children. Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight.

The description says yellow beeswax, does that just mean it's the natural unbleached color of beeswax or is yellow color actually added to it? I'm used to the natural color of fresh beeswax, but the photo shows pretty bright yellow?: yellow wax will often utilizes wax from the entire part of the hive, instead of only a specific portion

We use this beeswax in many of our soap, lotion, and hair recipes. We recommend that anyone with a bee allergy consult their doctor before use.
Is there any way to know if there are pesticides in this wax? I'm not sure what is considered cosmetic grade. I'm a beekeeper and am familiar on some of the products coming out of china.: We have confirmed with our supplier that the plants on the bee farms all grow naturally and do not use any pesticides.
What would be the fragrance load for a beeswax candle? Thanks in advance.: Since we do not specialize in candle making, we cannot advise how much fragrance to put into a candle. Our beeswax is mainly used for cosmetics. We have made candle melts or wickless candles but these are not something that is burned. You might try 10% fragrance and see how that works for you.
