Black Rose and Spice Oh soooo nice!!!

"This is my Favorite WSP FO, I love the strength of this fragrance after the cure in CP soap. The spice (cinnamon but I smell cloves) works well with the rose scent. No issues with acceleration and the bar discolored to a light light beige. Try this one it might surprise you as it did me, I am on my 3rd bottle and will gladly get more when needed."

Super Nice and Spicey

"This is a very amazing scent - a hint of Rose, but more overpowered by robust spices making it unlike an overpowering floral scent. Perfect scent for men or women. A man told me he hates the smell of roses, but he really liked my product (cold process soap). It did not accelerate, and I soap at about 90 degrees."

Unique

"This is a unique scent that I can't find anywhere else. It's great to mix with other fragrances to bring depth. I hope you bring it back some day."

This Rose is EVERYTHING!

"I can't stop smelling myself. this is a nice robust rose scent with nice spice notes."

Beautiful Floral scent

"I'm absolutely impressed! It smelled pretty strong out of the bottle but as I incorporated it into the soap, let it sit and cut the bars, the scent mellowed out beautifully and I wish I could use a bar already!!! Soaped wonderfully! 10/10!"

Wonderful!

"I used this in cold process soap and it behaved beautifully. It smells wonderful! It is deep, complex and spicy. I don't really pick up any rose smell at all, but my soap is only one day old right now. I think other reviewers said it will change a bit as soap cures. I bought this when small bottles were available--now I see it is only available in bulk. Sure hope it is available again in smaller quantities!"

Nice complex scent, sticks well in CP soap.

"This fragrance performed exactly as described in the behavior description. A little bit separated out to the top of the bar, but the scent stuck like mad even at 3. 8%, and otherwise behaved perfectly. Does cure out to a light-medium shade of tan. Very nice complex scent - I've added it to my body oil as well and a little bit goes a long way."

Strong on the patchouli when fresh. No rose yet.

"When I initially opened the bottle, I got a whiff of that ""cheap hippy undertone"" scent I do not enjoy. I'm not certain which exact scent I'm smelling, but I personally don't care for it. Mixed, it is barely there. The patchouli scent is very strong, along with a deep cinnamon. I haven't smelled rose at all yet, but I'm going to let it sit for a week to develop and see if it comes out. I'll update later when it has time to age. I'm using it for body and room spray at the recommended levels. I'd say this is for strong patchouli lovers (I am one) but not for rose fans - I'd call it an upscale head shop scent if I were describing it to a friend."

Deep and complex scent, lovely

"I wasn't quite sure what to expect from the description but was pleasantly surprised. In CP soap, the cinnamon comes out strong after curing, then the other scents start to show. This is a subtle scent, so its easy to use too much, be careful."

WOW very Impressed

"Like others I didn't know what to expect. Except that is was not a strong Rose smell. Which would have been OK, since I like Rose. I am sad I only bought the 2oz. Now. But for the first batch of soap I will just add a little Rose Garden, since it's not a strong Rose either. I haven't soaped with this yet but reading other reviews I doubt that will be a problem. Very excited to be able to add this to my collection :) 95% of my fragrance Oils comes from WSP since they are extremely high quality. Glad to see Crafters Choice is still Wowing us with their awesome scents :)"

Q&A

As stated in my review, this worked great for me in HP soap. Do you know how it behaves in Crafter's Choice lotion base? I'd like to try it but don't want to waste ingredients if it's going to misbehave. Thanks!
All our fragrances work very well in any of our lotion bases. Just be sure not to go over the recommended amount of fragrance. Too much fragrance will not incorporate into the lotion.
Under cold process notes, what does “severe separation” mean?
This means the fragrance did not blend well into the batter. If you want to use this, we recommend extra stick blending which may not completely stop this.
when it states that the seperation: severe ? Can you clarify for me what exactly that means - thanks
That means the fragrance oil did not mix with the soap batter and separated out. The oil sat on top of the soap after 24 hours.
