Can't wait to make more~ Also, can't wait to use these on MY dishes~!! Loads of fun to make ~ A great make/take project for class as well."

Q&A

Is there a different ingredient I can use in place of the steric acid?
There are substitutes for stearic acid in many recipes, but, for this particular recipe, stearic acid is the best choice due to the use of the product.
The link to the instructions doesn't work, and I'm not finding it in the recipes. How do I get to the recipe/instructions?
The recipe can be found under the "recipes & Videos" tab on the kit's product page.https://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/handmade101/how-to-make-recipes/blue-agave-sugar-scrub.aspx
I would like to substitute Optiphen plus for Phenonip how should I use for this recipe ?
For this recipe, you can use between .20-.40 oz. of Optiphen Plus preservative.
Would this recipe be considered gluten free?
We cannot guarantee that some of these items are not processed in facilities that process wheat products. As far as we know, this is gluten free.
I made this over the weekend and had trouble with it whipping up. I went ahead and put in containers after I blended and blended but now it is really hard and not whipped or thick at all. Is there a way to "soften" it back up?
We are not quite sure why this scrub did not turn out for you. If the emulsifying wax was not completely melted, it may not have emulsified properly. The product may actually be fine, it is just not the consistency that you thought it would be. You could try scooping some out of the jars and heating very slightly, then rewhipping slightly. The preservative in the recipe cannot be heating over 140°F or it will be inactivated.
