Details

For melt and pour soap, pour at no hotter than 135°F, cool until hardened, then unmold—freezing briefly and dipping the mold bottom in warm water if needed. For cold process soap, lightly coat the mold with cooking spray, pour at trace, unmold after 24 hours, and cure 4–8 weeks; add sodium lactate if your recipe stays soft. For lotion bars, pour melted mixture (no hotter than 135°F), allow to solidify, then press the back of the mold to release. Wash molds in warm, soapy water and avoid dishwashers to prevent warping.

"Milky Way makes two mold with this cute dragonfly design (rectangular and round) and I bought and love them both. You can see how cold process soap turns out using these molds by checking the image section where I submitted photos. I used Brambleberry's Kermit Green powder to color them and ""Garden Mint"" Fragrance Oil from WSP. I coated the mold using Trader Joe's Olive Oil spray and rubbed in the oil with my finger to prevent sticking, and the soaps popped right out! Don't be afraid to deviate from silicon molds - these work great if oiled properly."

"This soap mold is great and very good quality. It is very sturdy and the cavities are nice and deep, which allow for all the bees and flowers to be pronounced and visible on the finished bar even if you do not paint them with micas (included with the kit). Nice larger size bar."
