Best Carrot Seed Extract

"This is the BEST Carrot Seed Extract!!!! I try from other supply but this one is better by far. Blend perfectly with everything. The extract is clear and don't change the color of my products. I use it in some of my soaps, lotions and creams. Is the secret receipt in my products."

Needed for Facial Products

"I use this in facial serums and creams. It makes a noticeable difference. It's easy to use and will make your skin softer and smoother. There are antioxidants in carrots, and this is a needed item in any face products. The smell is earthy, as someone else described it, but your fragrance oil will do just fine."

Carrot Seed Extract

"I bought this to use in my Mature Face Serum. It has a mild and soothing earthy aroma. You wouldn't notice the smell when you add your own scents. You can also just apply it to your face. Carrot seed extract containsAntiseptic,Antiviral,Disinfectant,Detoxifier. All great for Face and Body Products."

Sylvie (5/5)

Love it!

"Carrot seed extract is a must-have, for me. I love how much softer my skin is after adding this. It does smell slightly like carrots - which I really like - strangely. . . however, it doesn't effect the smell of the FO or EO being used."

Anjelica (5/5)

"Def will use this again in face products"

Q&A

Sodium Benzonate is listed in the ingredients for this extract, is this safe to use? Is it considered natural/vegan? Can it be added to pre-made shampoo base? If so, about how much?
Sodium Benzoate is a preservatives recognized as safe for use in cosmetics, we would not source if it was not okay to use. There are no known animal products in this. And yes, this can be used in premade shampoo anywhere from 0.5-2%.
I'm making a hair spray. So for one pound of aloe Vera juice I'll use 1 tsp to 1 tbsp of this? Thank you for responding
Yes, that is correct. Those are just common usage rates, you can add a little more or less if you like.
When used in an oil-based product, would a preservative be needed?
The carrot extract does contain a preservative. We are not sure of the product you are making but for peace of mind, you mind want to add Preservative – Phenoxyethanol + CG.
Is there more benefit to the skin by adding carrot seed extract as opposed to powder. Does an extract absorb into the skin easier than powder? Thank you
The extract would absorb more quickly than the powder would.
can I get the SDS for this ingredients? I have downloaded the SDS in this page but it's for the beetroot Flavor Oil. was it the correct SDS?
We certainly apologize for this. We will get the correct SDS sheet added as soon as possible. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
