Cold Process Soap Test Results:

We test fragrances with the recipe of 50% olive oil, 20% sunflower oil,
15% coconut 76, 10% shea butter, 5% castor. No water discount.

"I love the scent of Jergen's original lotion and bought Cherry Almond FO to mimic that. However, on my skin, I find that the almond notes are too bitter and strong and would I like to combine Cherry Almond FO with another FO to tone down the almond. Would you be willing to suggest another FO that would go well with Cherry Almond FO and if so, what? Thank you."

	"smells like cherry cough syrup"
COMMENTS: Out of the bottle, it smells like straight up cherry cough syrup and I get no almond scent. I thought I'd try it anyways since FOs can change once they're in CP soap. I was wrong. These cough syrup scent is so strong that I think I'm going to have to throw out the entire batch. I used it at 3.5% so may a lower % would work?

"Great scent. "

COMMENTS: I love this fragrance and my customers do too. To me it’s a perfect blend of cherry and almond. I typically use 5-6% fragrance in my soap just depending, I use 4% with this one and it’s plenty. Plan ahead for dark discoloration, my test batch turned chocolate brown. I just separate small amounts to color before I add fragrance to accent the brown.

"Smells Delicous"

COMMENTS: I think this smells just like a jar of maraschino cherries. It does discolor, so plan for that. I found that it accelerated a little bit, but it could have been that I stick blended it too much. I did buy another huge jar because the smell is delightful.

COMMENTS: I purchased this scent because I have the regular Almond scent and I wanted something with slightly more cherry to it. Unfortunately to me this one smells nuttier than the original Almond. I'll just have to order Almond again and add a drop or two of Maraschino cherry to see if I get the desired scent.

COMMENTS: I bought this for my mother in law, as she loves Cherry Almond. It is a fantastic smell that I love, but I will say it is a bit heavier on the cherry notes than most cherry almond scents on the market. But it is still amazing!

"Wow, smells really good"

COMMENTS: I bought this because I thought it would smell like jergens lotion. OOB is smells so good but it doesn’t smell like the aforementioned lotion. It is a straight dupe for almond extract you bake with... i soaped with it as soon as it arrived and it behaved very nicely. Everyone thought I was baking something in the oven, but I said ‘nope, just soaping :)‘. This scent makes me crave cake. However, I hope it does mellow out to a more balanced cherry almond finish. Crossing fingers!

"Marashino Cherries"

COMMENTS: This would be 5 stars if it was not for the fact that it discolored in blotches, by that I mean it got super dark in the middle and not as dark on the edges (I have never had this in any CP coap with a high Vanillin%). That being said, this smells devine! I was actually disappointed OOB because it was more like Amaretto vs sweet cherry, but after cure it smells very sweet and cherry, which is what I wanted! I plan on using this in other applications because it smells so good. We will see what my customers think!

"Smells great but scent is weak"

COMMENTS: I bought this because of the great reviews with people saying the scent is strong and lasts. I really like the scent, for me, the cherry is stronger than the almond and I like it. I made cold process soap with it and ithe scent was really strong for the first couple of days and now it's barely there, so this is disappointing. I still love wholesale supplies plus, but I probably won't buy this frangrance again.

COMMENTS: Smells outstanding! I like to add some almond to this to get more of that true almond oil smell, even though I love cherries in every way. Some smell almond and think it smells like cherries itself, but I find it has that fabulous almond smell and the cherry adds more of that classic cherry scent you'd expect to it. I just add the extra almond as a personal preference as to me it gives it a more "adult" aroma...however the cherry is by no means overpowering. Big favorite!

COMMENTS: This was my first time trying Cherry Almond FO and I must say that I LOVE IT. After reading reviews about this fragrance accelerating trace, I decided to make a small batch with my soap recipe to see how it would behave. I was thoroughly impressed. I had no acceleration or ricing. I actually wanted a thick trace for a technique that I was doing, so I had to blend, blend, blend. The cherry AND the almond scent comes through very well. This fragrance was very concentrated so you don't need to use much. I use .7 of my oils, so next time I will use less as it isn't needed. Will definitely add this to my year-round line.

"Best Cherry Almond Ever!"

COMMENTS: I am so glad I tried this fragrance oil! Not only does this smell amazing but it is so versatile - I have labeled it under its name (Cherry Almond), Maraschino Delight, Grandma's Spritz Cookies, and more! Use it on the light side for a 'Jergens Lotion' scent (something my grandmother always used - oh, the memories). I use this with my soap formulations what have higher levels of soft oils and soap at room-temp to prevent acceleration - and use vanilla stabilizer at the recommended rate to control discoloration that can arise from the vanillin content. The strength of this fragrance oil help give you a little more bang for your buck! I highly recommend you give this one a try...just plan ahead to ensure you get the results you are looking for.

COMMENTS: I love this scent! A very rich smell of toasty almonds and fresh cherries! It even turned my soap a soft pink. I use goats milk which is a creamy color; so I added some of the white kaolin powder to lighten it up. No difficulties. Great seller.

COMMENTS: This is really nice but I can smell only almond. I gave this as gifts. Everyone loved the smell. I won't use this again though. I will buy Cherry Blossom. That really smells like cherry blossoms. But if you love almonds, you will love this scent.

COMMENTS: I've tried so called almond cherry fragrances from other suppliers. All I ended up with was cherry and more cherry. Not this version, I first detect almond and then cherry bringing up the rear. Awesome fragrance. Killer throw in 464 soy wax with only 1 ounce per pound. To make things better, what a affordable price!
