"This is great and really holds it's fragrance in CP soap. I use it as a shaving soap for my customers. I thought I was making a man's shaving soap. It seems women love it best. It smells soooo good. Is this oil safe for gel wax?
We have not tested this in gel wax. Please leave a review if you do, and let us know the results of your testing!
What type of cinnamon is this? Leaf? Bark?
The SDS shows the fragrance oil contains Cinnamal, it is from the bark of the cinnamon tree. This fragrance is a synthetic.
Is this safe to use in Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash? I have a couple customers that LOVES cinnamon.
Yes, this product can be used in these applications. When formulating, please follow the IFRA max guideline listed for "Body Wash" for all three.
Is the cinnamon FO safe to use in M&P soap?
Yes, this can be used in MP soap.
How does this FO stand up during Cold Process soaping? I am looking for some spicy/woody scents to add to my collection this fall, but really would like some heads up on any peculiar behaviour in the high pH.Thanks!-Erin
I've used this in CP and HP and it does really well. A little goes a long way and my house smelled like "fiery hot balls" according to my family! Hope this helps! I love it!
