"This smells exactly like organic virgin coconut Oil! I love the way it smells and the texture is super smooth. It doesn't melt down to oil in warmer temps the way regular coconut oil does,so my body butters stay whipped and wonderfully fluffy! May I use this in melt and pour: We do not recommend adding butters to MP soap because it will cut down on the amount of lather the soap creates.
Does this product require a preservative?: If using by itself, it does not need a preservative. You may want to mix in vitamin E as an anti-oxidant. If using this to make a lotion, you would need a preservative because the lotion will contain water.
