Nice Coconut, but not creamy

"I like this fragrance but I was hoping for more of a warm creamy scent. This is more of a sweet, fresh and clean coconut. Think coconut shampoo. If you want a creamy coconut fragrance, I'd recommend shea and coconut or coconut rice milk."

Not a pleasant smell. Smells nothing like coconut

"First let me say that this fragrance behaved very well. No acceleration for me soaping around 90 degrees. But the scent is not pleasant at all. Having a hard time even giving away samples. Which is a shame because the bar itself is superb. Had lots of people tell me that it smells a little like playdoh. . . . which is pretty close to accurate, just a little sweeter. Wont be ordering this again, and Im really hoping that I can sell the bars."

Smells wonderful

"This smelled wonderful and had great scent retention. HOWEVER. It riced horribly and I was basically trying to smoosh it into my mold after stick blending the ricing out. I did use it in perfume oils as well and that of course was way better!"

Q&A

Making goat milk detergent free MP soap with coconut milk frag. How much vanilla stabilizer do I need for 4.00% vanilla content. Not sure which calculator to use. Thank you
The directions for the stabilizer are for under 10% vanilla, you mix 2 parts fragrance to 1 part stabilizer. For 10% vanilla and over, mix equal parts of fragrance and stabilizer.
What is the usage rate for this FO in soy wax? Thanks!
You would use the amount recommended for your particular wax. As with any new fragrance, you want to be sure and test for proper performance in your candle.
I went through the reviews and several customers stated it seized in CP and messed up their batch. Pls explain how to use this FO in CP?
If you know the fragrance may seize (there were reviews where they had no issues with this FO), have everything ready when you add the fragrance. If using color, add that in before, and then mix the fragrance in by hand. Pour immediately. We cannot guarantee this will work for you. Sometimes you do have to forget that fragrance and go on to another. Good luck!
coconut milk fragrance smell foody or musky prefumey ?
Hi Stacy, since scents can differ from person to person I would recommend reading the description and reviews to get the best idea of the fragrance. This one is described as more of a creamy musky scent.
