"I trusted the manufactors statements, and I should have read the reviews. While the scent is a delite OOB, it seized my soap, and now that it is out of the mold, there is a very faint scent of cinnamon, and nothing else. I'm very disappointed. Oh well. I guess I'll throw some into wax melts."

What essential oils are in this blend?
This blend contains Orange Essential Oil.
What portion of Cotton Blossom* - EO & FO Blend is esential oil?
This oil contains 10.4% of essential oils and resins.
I am new to this and I don't completely understand how much of this fragrance I can add to my lotion base. I don't want the lotion to be too strong, but I want it to be just right. If I am understanding this right, I would need to add the entire 4 ounce bottle to a gallon of lotion base. Is that right? That just seems like too much. Please help me know how much to add to a gallon.
Hi Lori, you will need to follow the maximum exposure levels for this fragrance per IFRA. The IFRA maximum in lotion for the Cotton Blossom FO is 76.9%. We recommend 1-3% in lotion which equates to 1.28 oz. to 3.84 oz. for 1 gallon of lotion. The strength is really a personal preference. We recommend starting with 1% and adding more until the desired scent is achieved.
