Blue particles?!

"As melting using double boiler method, I noticed tiny blue particles sinking to the bottom of the large glass measuring cup. I didn't add any Shea butter or Coco butter as of yet because Cupuasu butter is harder & takes longer to melt. Couldn't use in that batch. Tried again later only to find the same but this time I noticed it before melting. Disappointed at best because of the cost of this product. Question? Where's all the reviews on this website ie. Recent. All reviews on most every product is at least 3 yrs. Old. I don't trust a website that doesn't have updated reviews."

A MUST!

"Love, love love! This butter is used in my lotions and lip balms. It smells very similar to cocoa butter, but I read that it has the moisturizing properties of lanolin, but is not an animal by-product. It find that it is the consistency of shea, it's not as hard as cocoa. Definitely try it. . . it's worth the money!"

Can you use cupuacu butter in a melt and pour soap?
Butters and Oils added to Melt and Pour soap can separate or make the soap soft. It can be added but a small test batch is recommended.
Should Cupuacu butter be tempered for use in lip balm or body butter?
The Cupuacu butter does not need to be tempered before adding to these products.
Can you please publish the Hair Mask recipe you used to show with the Cupuacu Butter in it? That is a customer favorite & I cannot find my copy...
At this time we do not have a hair mask with Cupuacu. If you know the name of the recipe you are referring to, that may help us find what you are looking for.
Can I add this to MP to harden bars of soap ?
Yes, but we recommend keeping it around 1-2 tbs per pound of soap base.
