Details

For melt and pour soap, pour at no hotter than 135°F, cool until hardened, then unmold—freezing briefly and dipping the mold bottom in warm water if needed. For cold process soap, lightly coat the mold with cooking spray, pour at trace, unmold after 24 hours, and cure 4–8 weeks; add sodium lactate if your recipe stays soft. For lotion bars, pour melted mixture (no hotter than 135°F), allow to solidify, then press the back of the mold to release. Wash molds in warm, soapy water and avoid dishwashers to prevent warping.

"My new favorite soap mold. I am glad I purchased 6 of these and now will be getting more soon. Use for both CP and MP. I leave MP in mold for 24 hours before popping them out, gentle pressure and the seal starts to unlock and out they come. CP I leave in for 72 hours and use sodium lactate in the soap batter and no issues getting them out there either but it may vary on your soap recipe. Nice, comfortable fit in hand. No more soap cutters for me yay!"

What type of label would fit best on this bar of soap? Some of your products show labels that would fit. Thanks.: Either an oval or rectangle label would be best for this bar. The maximum label area is 2.25" x 3.5" so a label approximately 2" x 3" would fit well. Normally, we have suggested labels for packaging such as bottles and jars but not for individual soap molds. There are so many different options for packaging soap. It would be hard to have sample labels for these.
Would the finished soap have a curved/domed top, or a flat one?: The edges are rounded but the top of the bar would be flat.
What size shrink bag would be best for this size soap bar: The 4 x 6 shrink bag would work well with this size bar.
When it says "1 mold", is this literally one single mold for one single bar of soap? How many bars per mold? If I want to make 12 bars of soap, do I need to buy 12 molds? Thank you.: This mold has 3 bar cavities in it. If you want to make 12 bars at one time, you would need to purchase 4 molds.
