Once melted, add cosmetic color, fragrance, and other skin-safe additives—this base can hold up to 5% total additives—then pour the mixture into a Crafter’s Choice mold and spritz the surface with rubbing alcohol to reduce bubbles. Allow the soap to cool completely before unmolding, then wrap it in airtight plastic wrap to preserve freshness. Melted soap is hot and should be used with caution; recommended for ages 15 and older.

I needed to troubleshoot, great results

"I have loved all the detergent free bases of tried from WSP, so I bought the 23# of this coconut milk base. When I began using it I find I was disappointed in the lather compared to the other bases. After checking the troubleshooting section of Debbie May's ""Melt & Pour Soapmaking"" book I found that I could improve the lather by adding honey powder. Impatient to try it out, I simply put my granulated cane sugar in my spice grinder to make a powder, then added 3% to my soap base before the rest of my additives. That fixed my issues andI can now proudly offer soaps with this base. It is great to work with and very nice feeling on the skin. I'm not sure why I was experiencing the low lather, but very happy to have this in my line. Thank you WSP!"

I've read that glycerin is only Alpha-Gal friendly if it is plant-based or synthetic. If the glycerin is derived from animal fats (tallow), it contains mammalian sugars and can cause an Alpha-Gal reaction. Is the glycerin in this detergent free coconut milk M&P base Alpha-Gal friendly?: This soap base is considered vegan.
Can this soap be used as a laundry soap?: Hello - we do not recommend our MP soap bases for laundry. The bubble factor is too great.
Good day, I'm looking forward to making and distributing my soaps using this base. My case must've gotten jostled quite a bit, because the bag has been rubbed away on two of the corners. I'm planning on using the tips in the listed videos to remove the plastic, but I'm wondering how to store the unused portion since the original bag is compromised.
