Cut soap base into small pieces, and melt in the microwave at 30-second intervals (or use a double boiler), stirring until fully liquefied. Once melted, add cosmetic color, fragrance, and other skin-safe additives—this base can hold up to 5% total additives—then pour the mixture into a Crafter’s Choice mold and spritz the surface with rubbing alcohol to reduce bubbles. Allow the soap to cool completely before unmolding, then wrap it in airtight plastic wrap to preserve freshness. Melted soap is hot and should be used with caution; recommended for ages 15 and older.

"I enjoy using this soap for my small business! I loved being able to buy the soap at a great deal and came in a nice, easy plastic bag inside of the cardboard box. Ingredients were easy to find and it produces a high-quality melt-and-pour soap! Has a very light yellow tint to the base, however, I did not find that this altered my ability to get a nice color. Definitely produces a more transparent appearance of the soap, unlike shea butter or other bases (which wasn't a problem by any means). It was great with the transparency for additives like extra fine glitter and things of that nature! Can't find a better deal currently for this product, will definitely buy again."

"I use Detergent Free Honey Glycerine for all of my clear soap needs. Of course it isn't 100% clear but it does the trick. It holds colors fantastic and it also adds a slight hint of the honey smell that gives my soaps a slightly different fragrance smell that my customers love. It's also very easy to work with when cutting up the 10lb box."

Is this an all natural soap base: This base is not considered to be all natural, but our Detergent Free bases are the most natural of the soap bases we carry.
What is the PH on this soap?: You can find this information on the SDS of all of our soap bases. The pH can range from 8-10.
Hello I would like to know how would I label my soap for sale when I add .36 oz of patchouli, .20 oz frankincense, .10 oz pine, .8 oz lemon, and .6 oz sweet orange eo to the DT honey soap.: You can simply list them as "essential oils" at the end of the ingredient listing or list each oil individually either by their INCI name or common name. This would depend on whether you are using INCI or common names for your soap ingredients.
Do all the melt and pour soap bases contain Propylene Glycol?: Yes, they do. It is part of the production process of making the soap and cannot be made without it.
