Might have gotten an old batch??

"I was excited to try this based on the reviews. I have made a lot of projects with other bases, so I understand how to heat, when to add fragrance, how to thoroughly blend, and when to pour. My finished product had rough flecks of white soap that wouldn't accept the color. I attempted to remelt, making sure not to overheat, stirred thoroughly and had the same result. The lather was not as luxurious as I was hoping, and was not as creamy as I find with the goat milk or hemp base. It was kind of thin, if that makes sense. Based on this, could it be likely that I had an older batch? I'd love to hear if anyone else has had this happen."

Can this product be used as a shampoo bar?
This can be used as a shampoo bar.
Can I add fragrance, honey powder or sunflower oil and coffe grounds and mica to this DF Moroccan Argan soap base as long as all combined do not exceed 6 percent?Thanks
You can add all the ingredients you listed up to the 6%. Adding sunflower or any other oil will cut down on the soap lather.
I need to know if these base are halal. My concern is with the lye in the base. I need to know if it is derived from wood ash or animal product. I am also concerned with the glycerin. Is it from animal products?
The lye in this soap is not animal based and the glycerin is vegetable based
Can I add turmeric powder ,beetroot powder and rice bran oil to this soap base ? If Yes how Each much is recommended ?
Our MP soap bases can accept up to 6% additives, including fragrance. Adding more than this will soften the soap and keep it from hardening. Also, adding oils such as rice bran will lessen the amount of lather the soap creates.
Hello, I have seen on some of the reviews that the finished bars can be soft. Would adding some Mango Butter help with bar hardness and longevity?
We do not recommend this. Adding any oil or butter will lessen the lather of the soap. We have found that adding some kaolin clay to the soap will help to harden.
