Details

For melt and pour soap, pour at no hotter than 135°F, cool until hardened, then unmold—freezing briefly and dipping the mold bottom in warm water if needed. For cold process soap, lightly coat the mold with cooking spray, pour at trace, unmold after 24 hours, and cure 4–8 weeks; add sodium lactate if your recipe stays soft. For lotion bars, pour melted mixture (no hotter than 135°F), allow to solidify, then press the back of the mold to release. Wash molds in warm, soapy water and avoid dishwashers to prevent warping.

Fun to make

"These dino molds have made some of my best sellers. I color the dinosaur one color, usually with a white or goats milk base and then fill the cavity with a clear base and color. Moms and kids alike really go for these. These are a little difficult to unmold and I have to place in the freezer for 15 minutes, but that ""usually"" does the trick. And if it doesn't I wait for my husband to come home and use his brute strength to get them out. :) I've purchased several of these because they are so popular with my customers."
