"I have been buying this fragrance for a while, but since you changed it to crafter or whatever it's called, it smells nothing like Cucumber melon. If it ain't broke don't fix it! Now i have to use a different company for my fragances"

Smells like dirt

"This was very polarizing for my friends and family. I think it smells like dirt in the way dirt smells like decay, I had it curing in a closet offy bedroom and more than once woke up in the middle of the night thinking I'd be buried alive because of the smell. My mother thought it smelled like cat urine and mildew, my BIL thought it smelled like a forest floor, a friend thought it smelled like blue algae on a lake, the friends made it for thought it smelled like a cave and exactly what they wanted when they asked for a dirt smelling soap."

Accurate scent that behaves well

"If you've ever had an aquarium, this scent smells exactly like aquarium water. Earthy, mossy, wet, with a very slight bacterial note. The comparison to fresh dirt is shockingly accurate! It behaves well and is quite strong. I actually had to dial it down with one of my soaps because it was overpowering my florals! This fragrance isn't for everyone, but I'm sure some would love this."

Dirt groupie!

"When I first heard of this fragrance I had to try it, so once I finally found WSP I ordered it. And this is beyond true to its name. . . It soo reminds me of fresh potting soil. I LOVE THE SMELL OF FRESH SOIL!! So I created candles in this scent and they are my #1 seller. This fragrance really gives the area a clean (lol) fresh scent."

Was Good Not So Lately

"I used to order this to make a lot of hunting sprays for several clubs. It was awesome! The last 3 orders the scent is extremely mild if at all. It has more of the base carrier smell. I had product returned due to the lack of aroma. I reach out to the company and I am waiting on them to get back with me as to why the change. The change is very noticeable, I use to open one large bottle and it would almost run you out of the room now you have to wave your hand over the bottle and maybe get a small whiff of the dirt smell. I don't know if they diluted it, changed the formula, or change their raw supplier. Hopefully, I will get a response soon as to the issue. I am patiently waiting as I love crafters choice products. I also hope that whatever the reason for the change it goes back to the original scent. Hope this was helpful."

Q&A

I have had a customer ask me to let them use my Dirt FO on their hunting clothes so deer can't smell them. Is this okay & can the deer smell chemicals in it? Thanks!
We do not recommend using this directly on clothes or skin. Mix with a body spray or carrier oil.
Is this scent phthalates-free?
All Crafter's Choice fragrances are phthalate free.
How long do your fragrances stay good for in the bottle? And once opened?
All Crafter's Choice fragrance oils are guaranteed to last until the expiration date on the bottle.
Can this be used in soy 464 to make candles?
This fragrance oil can be used in candles. You do need to test to be sure this fragrance is compatible with your wax. You would use the amount of fragrance recommended by your wax manufacturer.
Would like to use this in a lip balm. Wondering why it says 0% for lips but 100% for everything else?
