"Bit sure what the original smells like but I get a light, powdery, very mild beach notes. It's not bad! Just not wow in my opinion. Maybe some very mild aquatic sea notes but more of just a summery vibe, but very powdery forward."

Awesome fragrance

"I am in love with this fragrance, I blended this fragrance with other oils that I think would compliment it and oh my god!!! The smell came out so delicious, it became my top seller. I use it in soaps, lotions and body butter. I developed a signature line and so far even folks that don't like rose is in love with it. It smells so good even men use the products. I can't get enough of it. I will keep buying this product. Folks if you don't like this fragrance by itself mix it with something. FYI I love it by it self but my mix just elevated it. I have to have a big bottle at all time."

Not what I was hoping for

"I think I was looking for more of a soft rose smell with some powder notes but to me this was a ""sharp"" rose for lack of a better term. It was floral to the max with some greenery but absolutely no sweetness or delicacy in my opinion. I wanted to try and mix it with something but I think I am just going to destash. It is exactly what old lady rose perfume smells like to me."

OMG, I am so impressed!

"Not only is this a drop-dead duplication of this legendary scent, but I am re-launching my entire spring line-up with this as our signature scent! My testers are just raving over this one. After years of searching for that one ""perfectly feminine"" scent, you have it nailed! I have used the hideously expensive rose otto for years and have never found anything remotely likable about any of the other ""rose"" scents available. . . in case you missed it, I am not using this in cold processed soap, but everything else. . . the best description I can give you is softly feminine, playful, delicate with a hint of naughty all wrapped up in pink roses. Just about to order in bulk. . . don't miss out on this one as it might change your mind about roses. Nothing ""old lady"" about this scent!"

"This fragrance is just beautiful! Please ignore any negative reviews on this and try it for yourself. If you love and appreciate rose and floral fragrances, this is the ultimate! Delicate, fresh and not overpowering at all, true English rose fragrance."

Not my fav

"Out of all the rose fragrances I've ever tried, this one is my least favorite. It smells worse than a grandma rose scent. There is just nothing pretty or interesting about this fragrance to me. It also riced and accelerated, so all in all not worth the price tag. To me the English Tea Rose smells better, though major acceleration, Rose Jam of course smells better, Wild Rose smells better, Lemon Rose Water. . . all so much better than this one."

Delicate

"This has been my personal favorite rose fragrance so far out of the several I've tried from various suppliers. Most are either too green or too powdery for my liking, but this one is nice and balanced without being overly fake and perfumey, if that makes sense! It's the first rose fragrance I've reordered! I will say that it accelerated my cp soap, but I was able to glop it into a mold and it cured fine, so probably won't be able to do fancy swirls or anything with this."

Q&A

Hi. I ordered your 8 ounce bottle of Evelyn Rose fragrance and 16 ounces of crafters choice base. I'm having a hard time figuring out how to measure out scent to base formulations. I've read the instructions and still don't get it. I'm trying to fill a 2 ounce spray perfume bottle or a 5 ounce non spraying, to make an Eau de Parfum or Parfume. Please help. Thank you.

Is this fragrance safe in candles or wax melts?
This fragrance is safe to use in candle wax but as with any new fragrance, it should be tested to be sure it performs well with your particular candle wax.
Does anyone know if this is based off of the old evelyn rose perfume or the new reformulated one?
Since this is a new fragrance oil, we believe it is formulated after the new Evelyn Rose perfume.
