- I see two different answers regarding solubility of Frankincense Powder. Please confirm if water and/or oil soluble. Please advise what percentage can be used on leave on products. Thank you!
- Frankincense is mostly composed of alcohol soluble resins and about 30% water soluble polysaccharides. Frankincense will dissolve in water or alcohol. Hot water dissolves it quicker. A higher grade of Frankincense will still be a bit gummy in the center and opaque in color.
- Is it safe to burn as resin on charcoal?
- This is something you will need to test as we have not burned this.
