Vinessa (5/5)

A winner

"This is a good oil to use for lotion bars and body butters. I like the fact that it doesn't sit on the skin. It soaks in pretty well. A huge plus when I am trying to formulate a body butter that doesn't feel greasy. A preferred choice to the sweet almond oil ( which is awesome as well), because the shelf life is longer. A keeper in my arsenal."

KARONE (5/5)

Excellent Oil!

"This oil makes a great massage oil, it's spreadable and it's easy to add essential or fragrance oils to it. I also add it to my lip balm line and have no problem with it. I will always buy this oil so that I'm never without it."

Donna (5/5)

Great in lotion bars

"I used this in the sugar leaf lotion bar kit and loved it so much I am going to use it again in my own lotion bar recipe. This is a great oil. Thanks WSP for another winner!"

Katy (5/5)

Top notch oil

"This product is excellent in salt scrubs. I previously used almond oil exclusively, but now have a second fine choice."

Q&A

What preservative do I use in this to make fragrance oil?
Adding fragrance oil to the oil does not require a preservative. An antioxidant, Vitamin E or Rosemary Oleoresin can be added at .5-1%.
Is this grapeseed oil food grade? Thank you.
No, Grape Seed Oil is not food grade. None of our products are meant to be ingested.
I'm using a 2% dilution with 12 drops of essential oil per ounce of oil, but I want to use two different essential oils totaling 24 drops 12 drops of each, do I need two different carrier oils for two different essential oils in one recipe, or can I just use two ounces of grapeseed oil?
Two different carrier oils is not necessary, you can use the same one.
how many % do you recommend for a body oil recipe? And it is ok to mix with vitamin E?
This is completely up to you and the rest of your recipe. Yes, vitamin E can be mixed with it.
what is a good oil sub for grape seed in recipes that is also light weight?
Camelina Oil and Jojoba Oil are nice light weight alternatives to grape seed oil.
