"This scent is amazing! The soap I made sold out quickly. I read a lot of reviews that say it accelerates and causes seizing. I made this hot process and didn’t experience this. It behaved normally."

"Let me just say this is an amazing scent. It's complex and calming. Off the bat I got a 16 oz bottle and don't regret it when it comes to the scent itself. I tested this in coconut soy wax with wooden wicks. This combination majority of the time gives me phenomenal results with perfect burn characteristics. I started with 10% fragrance load in my test candles. At 10% the CT was great and the HT was strong in the bathroom I had it in for my first burn test. However, it came at a cost. I had significant burn defects from a dying flame to 'charring' on the top layer of melted wax. I don't want to call it soot because there was nothing on my vessel or anything coming from the flame itself. Whatever it was, looked like it was coming from the flame touching the melted wax from burning so low. I tried multiple size and thickness wood wicks and multiple cotton wick series known to work in the vessel I chose and had no success. I tried all of these same wick tests all the way down to 7%. And while at 7% FO I am getting good burn characteristics (no sooting, proper flame shape and height, not too hot, ect) I am now at such a low level of FO that I'm barely getting a HT and the CT is like non existent. I'm suspecting it's something with the density of this FO that's making it finicky to wick and use in soy/soy blend candles at least. I will try in another wax or two with paraffin and coconut apricot but may just use this for melts if I have the same experience. Would make a great lotion scent or room spray."
"This fragrance worked beautifully in cold process soap. I also used inexpensive whiskey to blend with water/sodium hydroxide. No ricing or seizing at all. My customers love this fragrance and so do I. This is a best seller in my product line-up."
"This smell horrible. It smells at first like body odor, fallow by a dark chocalate scent. Maybe in soap smells different."
"I used the fragrance calculator and the added slightly less than recommended to my batter. It seized instantly. The batter I had poured out in a separate container and didn't add the fragrance too stayed nice and fluid. It also smells like a dive bar floor at the end of the night but that was the scent I was going for' I was trying to make a novelty soap. Do not recommend unless you're going for the seized soap vibe."
"I finally used this in a small batch after avoiding it based on reviews. I don't love it OOB so I added some tonka to it and also used espresso powder and cinnamon sugar in the top. It did not seize. . . . Soaped just above room temperature with tallow. I wouldn't say it's stayed fluid but I didn't do anything fancy. . . . Single color in a loaf mold. Didn't rice either. I ended up with lovely dark bars because of the tonka and espresso powder and they smell sorta like whiskey and pipe tobacco and maybe a little smokey . . . . Blended well with the coffee and cinnamon"
"Out of all the GoT soaps I've done, this one behaved worst of all. Seized up right away to soap on a stick and had to be dumped into the mold in a nearly solid brick. I was soaping at 110', nothing weird or tricky. Simple vegan soap recipe, yet seized as hard as the Iron Islands themselves. And yes, the fragrance is whisky. Whoever says it isn't has never smelled actual whisky. Be weary of this FO or you'll ultimately pay the iron price."
"I am not sure what it is in this fragrance, but I do not like it at all. I felt queasy after using it and it reminds me of old whisky spilled on a bar room floor. Did not like it OOB, and it did not change my mind after using in m&p."
"Im not sure why no one includes a common scent comparison so other buyers have something to go by. This isn't a bourbon or whiskey scent. It smell like an incense and oud fragrance."
"I bought a small bottle to try. Family & customers loved it. I've already ordered a larger bottle. I will be making soap with it as soon as it comes in. I will try to keep it in stock at all times. I don't have to color it, it turns a nice tan."
