"This turns a horrible grey in any base that isnt clear. I really wanted this color to be a deep purple that could overpower the white in a lot of soap bases. It can't. I've found a way to make it work, sort of, by mixing it with a pink. GREAT in clear melt and pour bases."

"I used the Heirloom Eggplant Purple Mica to make embeds with M&P soap for a test batch of Black Raspberry Vanilla cupcakes, and the embeds came out beautifully. I then added the colorant to my CP soap for the cupcake bases and it instantly turned a lovely shade of gray. It's been 3 days now, and it's still gray so I don't think it was a temporary morph. Unfortunately, I don't do a lot of M&P soapmaking. Hopefully, I can still use this mica to make Black Raspberry bath bombs."
"I ordered this as a sample. Though the description said this purple morphs to gray in CP soap, I tried it anyway, but in HP soap. The color stayed true and did not morph or migrate. Soap is almost a month old and the purple is just a deep as the day I unmolded it. I will order more of this color."
