"That smell like you just cut the grass" |
| COMMENTS: I was hoping for a super nice sage scent like I smelled from another soaper. And this kinda smells like that smell when you just weedwhacked your yard. And there's green goo all over. Not a bad smell, but not necessarily something I'd want to bathe in. The jury is out. Lets see what my customers think. | |

"Sharp woody green" | ||||||
| COMMENTS: This is such an intriguing scent. Not familiar with the Aveda original so can't speak to its similarity, but it is very, very green-woody, almost harshly so (not a bad thing). Slight acceleration when soaped warm, no ricing, no discoloration. Very long/strong retention. It's quirky and different and mossy and almost smokey. Masculine bordering on unisex. Might be too interesting for a market that loves vanillas and contemporary male colognes, but I'm a fan. | |||||||

"It took a while..." |
| COMMENTS: I purchased this a while ago and at first was like oh yuk and stuck it in the back with the other oh yuk oils. The past week I've been rearranging my oil cabinet, tossing the out of date and yuk oils and such and came across the full bottle of Indigenous and decided to give it another sniff, I put some on my wrist and went outside to do something and that's when it got me...WoW, this really smells pretty good, in fact I think I like it. Sadly, as I was putting oils back in the cabinet a few bottles fell on the floor and the only one that broke and spilled was Indigenous...Anyway it smells even more awesome after a few days as an unintended air freshener the scent really lingers beautifully; herbal, earthy, clean...kind of reminds me of the original green Herbal Essence Shampoo I used back in the 70's. I will be getting another bottle on a future order! | |

| COMMENTS: I wanted to like this scent. I tried, I really did. But it's too raw for me. I love unisex/masculine scents but there is just something here that I don't like. Interestingly, my 15 year old liked it but she's the only one I can find so far. The scent is strong and held up in wax though so I couldn't give it 1 star | |

"great scent, very slight acceleration of trace " |
| COMMENTS: This is a great woodsy cedar scent with a hint of herbal florals, like lavender. It's similar to cedarwood and sage, but has a different note to it. I would say this is a scent that would appeal to males, but is very unisex. It smells fabulous in soap, but it accelerated the batter just slightly. I was making a clay soap, single color and no swirls, so I didn't mind. Be aware if you are planning more complicated designs. | |
