Q&A

Hi! I want to make a sugar body scrub at home using this lemon essential oil. Is it safe to use in a rinse-off sugar scrub? If so, what percentage or usage rate do you recommend? Thank you!
Depending on your specific recipe or base, the typical usage rate is ~ 1% - 2% EO.
Is this essential oil phototoxic, can it be applied to leave on products like body butter? I saw a previous question where it says it's safe to use in bath soaks, but if it's cold processed I thought that meant it can't be used in bath soaks or leave on products due to photosensitivity. Please clarify, Thanks
Lemon EO is phototoxic and should only be used on wash off products. A bath soak would be considered a wash off product.
Can this product be used in a cleaning solution to use on counters in kitchen and bathroom.
Yes, this can be used in home cleaning solutions.
What do the numbers after "Pure" for the essential oils mean. Eg this one says Certified 100% Pure 140. What does the 140 stand for?
These numbers are product codes. We have many fragrance, essential, and flavor oils, so the numbers help us stay organized.
Would this be suitable for a bath salt soak mixture? I want to create a scent similar to bath and body work's bright lemon snow drop.
Yes, this EO can be used for bath salts.
