"Severe Ricing "

COMMENTS: This fragrance oil caused sever ricing and seized the soap batter. However, I gave it a fair rating only because it smells amazing. The oils and butter used in this recipe was oil, coconut, palm, canola, Shea, caster and sweet almond. My only thought was maybe the half water half aloe Vera juice caused a problem. Because it smells so wonderful, I decided to make small test batch, using a lower FO % and only distilled water. I’ll let you know if this makes a difference.

"Beautiful floral fragrance"

COMMENTS: I have never smelled magnolia, but if this is what it smells like, I'm in! Strong oob, but not overpowering & no chemical smell, just a soft floral with a touch of sweetness, very well rounded. I soaped at 90 degrees and was able to do a gorgeous ITP swirl before my batter thickened and started to rice up a bit, but I will tell you that there was no rushing going on. I am actually writing this review as I am placing an order for a larger bottle to make lotion and bath bombs. I'm obsessed with this fragrance! I will have to give an updated review after my bars have had a chance to cure and will note any discoloration or scent fading at that time. Definitely recommend this FO as of now.

"Behaved great for a floral"

COMMENTS: Did not rice in my recipe (coconut, cocoa, mango, olive, avocado, castor, hemp) and didn't accelerate as far as I feared. Had time to stick blend & pour a single color before it set up (it started thickening as it poured though). Smells great, will mellow a little as it cures. It didn't misbehave as much as it seemed it might.

	"Simply Southern Fragrance Oil"
COMMENTS: I moved to Alabama about in 2019 and had to rethink the fragrances I use for the candles and soaps. I found that Southern ladies love the floral scents of Magnolia, Camelia, and Wisteria. I did not sell many floral scents other than rose-types when I lived further north. This sold out very quickly and I will need to be making more. It behaved beautifully with no seizing/ ricing.

COMMENTS: I rated this excellent because the smell is soooo good! It does accelerate, but you’re warned about that in the description. I used it in three different soaps, blended with three other fragrances, and it only riced a little in one of them. I hand blended the FO into the soap, which helped, but it still moved super fast. Don’t plan a complex design with this FO. I had a ITPS and drop swirl planned with two of my soaps, and ended up hand swirling them, one with a whisk and one using a hanger tool. Not in the plans, but it still worked out. Beautiful fragrance though.

"Better Than The Real Thing!"

COMMENTS: I use Magnolia fragrance in many of my products and have most often used Magnolia Essential Oil, but it is costly and hard to come by. When I tried Crafters Choice Magnolia Fragrance Oil, I was hooked! It's only slightly different than the essential oil and has a more mellow scent than the essential oil. I definitely recommend this product.

"Fast Mover in CP but the fragrance makes up for it"

COMMENTS: Even at very cool, very thin trace this is a fast mover in CP. Little time to do even the simplest ITPS before it becomes a "plopper." The fragrance is exactly what I was looking for in a Magnolia scent. It's worth the trade-off.

"Accurate version of White Jade/White Champaca tree"

COMMENTS: The White Jade/White Champaca Orchid Tree is a type of magnolia flower that is used in asian perfumes. People would pick the flowers and put it around their house just to make the house smell nice for a few days. This scent smells just like it! My elderly Chinese relatives can really appreciate this scent.

"Nice Magnolia"

COMMENTS: I was looking for a fairly strong Magnolia to use in a blend. I wanted it to not be overwhelmed with the other FOs and to clearly stand up for itself and say MAGNOLIA. This one does the job nicely. Could be a tad stronger but really is a nice scent. Would be lovely on it's own too. If you are looking for Magnolia, I would recommend you give this one a try.

"Oh, my Magnolias"

COMMENTS: I use this in soy candle making and it's a perfect blend, smells like the real thing. Very strong throw in soy, I only use one oz per pound (which is amazing). I've tried other magnolia oils, no other brand compares.

"Great scent - accelerated trace"

COMMENTS: I love the scent and was excited to make a batch of goats milk Magnolia soap. As soon as I added the FO to the soap mix, it went to trace very quickly. I wasn't able to work with the soap like I wanted to. It didn't pour in to the mold - but it "plopped" in to the mold. :(

"Love magnolia!"

COMMENTS: Growing up in the south, I have always adored magnolias. This scent is almost dead on for the trees in my neighborhood. I haven't used it in CP yet but I do anticipate acceleration since that seems to be what floral scents do. :) I used this in lotion bars and I do caution...a little goes a long way especially in a leave-on product. The scent can be very strong. I did add a bit of a green scent to this in my lotion bars to cut down on the sweet scent just a bit. This mixture took the bars from good to spectacular. Every woman I know now wants lotion bars with this mix!

"Very fast CP mover but doable if you prepare. "

COMMENTS: I give this rating 5 stars because even if it isn't the easiest to use in CP soap, the positive sales I get when I make soap from this product outweighs the bit of "challenge" I may experience when making it. Just don't try to get fancy. Use one color and have your pot prepared with all additives before you pour the fragrance, and move quick. The smell is absolutely divine. I can't keep from stealing a bar or two for myself when I make it to sell. I can't attest to how long the fragrance sticks because I have never kept it in stock long enough, but it has never faded for as long as I have had them in stock.

COMMENTS: It smells really nice, but it's not all that CP friendly. It moves so fast, I barely managed to throw it in the mold. It was super hot within five minutes and the scent got completely different eventually. I suppose the crazy heat is what did the damage. No way coloring could be pulled off. I might give it a second chance because I like it.

COMMENTS: I have used this is a MP blend of goat's milk and shea and this scent has done amazingly well. The scent is potent, which is great although you will have to experiment a little to get the perfect amount of scent, but that means you can stretch your bottle out a little longer. There are magnolia trees everywhere where I live and this scent is so close to the real thing!

COMMENTS: I've made CP and HP soaps with this fragrance oil and am very happy with the way it performed in both processes. My customers usually comment on how nice a fragrance this is. It did have a tendency to accelerate CP if used at the maximum rate. I find it didn't make oxide pigment colors "morph".

COMMENTS: Crafters choice scents come with a screw cap, hold everything in even for the looong journey they made to get to me. But I make small batchs of soap. Some times as small as a single guest size bar. I would love for the caps to have a dropper. Beautiful scent of magnolias. I love flowers and magnolias are one of my favorites. I just love it. Good quality. Tried it on melt and pour and sprays. Mixing it with a woody scent or a green leafy or lemony scent works great for dimension.

"Reminds Me of Home..."

COMMENTS: I bought Magnolia Fo from a few of the other guys, but was not happy. I was looking for the real smell to remind me of home when I missed it. WSP is the winner! "Heavenly!"

COMMENTS: I don't normally like floral scents or very strong scents and I was afraid to open this bottle. I was so pleasantly surprised! It's not overpowering and smells just beautiful! My 82 year old mother was with me when I opened it and now she's in love with it! It really is a beautiful fragrance, very true to magnolia, not at all chemical smelling. It smells wonderful. COMMENTS: This is a very strong fragrance and my nose was completely overpowered OOB, but I used half what I usually do for bath bombs and it was wonderful. A beautiful floral that I will make again.

	"Just like the flower"
COMMENTS: When I lived in Georgia, I had four (yes, four!) magnolias in my front yard. When they bloomed, the scent was heavenly. I would gather buds and put them in bowls around the house and enjoy them while they lasted. This fragrance oil smells just like the blooms. I love it. It also mixes nicely with other scents. I mixed it with bladderwrack to add a little earthiness and it was wonderful.

"Very Strong"

COMMENTS: A customer requested this fragrance and she and I both love it! It is not at all what I expected, but I am so pleased with it. I made soaps, lotions and candles with it. It is girly, girly but not overpowering and sweet smelling.

	"Definitely magnolia"
COMMENTS: Smells STRONGLY of magnolia - but it is a nice, true magnolia fragrance. I'm not personally a fan of florals, but my customers love and repeatedly request this one, especially for weddings, and because it is an accurate fragrance I'm giving it 5 stars. But this is one that you REALLY need to ventilate the work space when using it, and everything will smell like magnolia for days afterwards!

COMMENTS: This magnolia is an incredible fragrance. I use it in my cold process soap. It behaves well - no discoloring - soap turns out a clean white. It is one of my best sellers,even men like this floral because it is not sweet or like other florals. The smell is gentle but substantial and long lasting. It is very close to real Champaca essential oil which I dilute in FCO and wear as a perfume. This makes an economical alternative. My favorite.

COMMENTS: I'm nore of a fruit scent fan but this was requested a customer. Her Magnolia had been discontinued from an expensive name brand and she was freaking out. She told me magnolias smell wonderful. This does smell wonderful. I have smelled many florals but this is proabably my favorite. It's pretty and doesn't smell like every typical floral scent (they can be so alike that it's hard to tell the difference). Now I know what the big deal about magnolias.
