????? Matte Brown Liquid Pigment

"Rich, earthy brown with a true matte finish. Performs exactly as described with no bleeding or morphing. Blends smoothly into bases and gives consistent color every time. Great for natural or neutral-toned formulations."

Nice!

"I added this color to liquid cobalt blue in clear MP soap base to make a midnight sky. It was lovely!"

Janita (5/5)

Great Color

"Used this in my ""Rock Star"" Soap and it looked amazing. I love the color this imparted to the product. It didn't fade though I did desire a darker shade than permitted by usage guidelines. Even with that I would still use time and time again."

Kristy (5/5)

Excellent

"I use this in my pink leopard soap to surround the pink ""spots"" and it produces a true, sharp black. The black holds color great and does not bleed into the base. I've used this in several projects where I need a sharp, crisp black and it never disappoints!"

Michelle (5/5)

Rich, beautiful black!

"I love this pigment. It's very easy to use, and it gives me a beautiful black in clear soap, and great grey tones in white soap. Great product."

"a nice and easy way to color melt and poor soaps. yah you can use them in CP and HP soaps but i like the pre mix for the MP."

Love it!

OK, but I prefer the color bar

"I've been using the matte and sparkle black color bars for years, which are truly fantastic for m&p. I decided to try the liquid, just to see if it would be even more convenient, but I didn't find that to be the case. It's fine. . . I just prefer the color bars. Here's why: the color settles to the bottom, so it requires vigorous shaking before each use. The color is subtle -- not nearly as concentrated (as far as I can tell) as the color bars. This means you have to add a lot to achieve a deep, opaque black, and adding that much liquid can throw off the balance of the soap, IMO. And lastly: the lids are good, but they do occasionally leak. I really appreciate that WSP offers so many choices, great customer service, and such an user-friendly website, but as for black color, I'll stick with my solid color bars :)"

Q&A

another question was answered that this can be used in liquid soaps, however i have tried this and other of the mattes and they all sink to the bottom. they 'color' it for a short time, but then sink on down. does this need mixed with something to prevent that?
These should color liquid soaps with no problem. I would call customer service and they may be able to troubleshoot with you. 1-800-359-0944
Can this and is it safe to be used in lip gloss?
If the gloss base is water soluble, yes this can be used.
Is it vegan?
Yes, this product is Vegan.
Can this be used to paint bath bombs without activating it instead of melting color blocks and adding glycerin?
This will not activate the bath bombs but we recommend either using the color block or using the Matte Black powder mixed with alcohol to paint. The liquid pigment may not dry. The color block will harden so that is why it was used. You can certainly test to see how this works for you.
Can this be used to dye fragrance oil, without separation? And if the dyed fragrance oil was mixed with perfumer's alcohol, would the dye separate completely? I have purchased many fragrance oils that are pre-dyed (the dye does not separate,) but every single dye I've tested myself, separates from the oil. Help?
This color will separate if added to a fragrance oil since it is a water-based color. You could try a mica powder that mixes well into oils such as: https://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/products/black-knight-sparkle-mica-powder.aspx
