Directions

Cut desired amount from the color bar and melt into warm soap base at 130-140 ºF. To color your product, start with small amount of color and increase as desired. Adding this color to white soap will produce a pastel colored bar. Adding this color to a clear base will produce a shimmering bright colored bar. Using too much color may cause staining. Test your final product to ensure optimal performance and no staining. Protect work areas and clothing when mixing.

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Use caution when melting—hot soap may cause burns. Keep out of reach of children. Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight.

"Believe me when I say that a little goes a long way. I chip a tiny piece off with a knife and add it to the soap just as it's finishing up the melt process. Don't add to much or else your soap will be a dark brown. Adding a small amount gives it a perfect light brown hue."

Is there anyway to use liquid or Mica Powder instead? If so how much would take the place of the 2 pieces of the matte brown??: Yes, you can use the liquid or powder mica. You should add 1/8 teaspoon of color at a time until desired color is achieved - we do not have an exact conversion.
What is the best way to add this to cold process soap- in the lye water, melted in a Tbsp. Of oil and added at trace?: Soap color blocks are meant to be used in Melt and Pour Soap only. They do not work in CP soap.
