"Lovely green floral, but..." |
| COMMENTS: If you like fresh green scents and breezy, springtime floral fragrances, this is a good one to try. It is a very pleasant fragrance, well balanced between the green and the floral; it is not overly floral or old smelling, but lovely and feminine. It soaped well for me and a week after making in cold process soap, the scent retention thus far is nice and strong and the colors are staying true. I used lavender, greens and titanium dioxide for white; thankfully, I am not noticing any of WSP's reported discoloration. The only issue I have is that WSP sells their fragrances by volume instead of weight. Thinking the 4 oz. bottle should at least be somewhat close to the net wt., I originally thought the price wasn't bad. I weighed out the fragrance before planning my batch though; I am glad I did. The 4 fl. oz. bottle is only 3.4 oz. net wt.! Customers cannot properly gauge the cost of fragrances like this, nor plan their making when ordering fragrances by volume. I realize it is easier for WSP to go by bottle size (volume), but it seems it would be more honest to include the net wt. as well, especially given the fact that their wonderful recipes on the website, go by weight, not volume, so they know how important that is to us all! Thank you for a lovely fragrance and hopefully shortly down the road, fragrances sold by weight! | |

"Phenomenal fragrance, and behaved perfectly!" | ||||||
| COMMENTS: This fragrance lives up to its reputation, it really smells like the outdoors! The smell gets better as it cures too, the sweeter notes start to get more pronounced. 3.5 weeks into the cure and the smell is still strong. It's a vibrant and complex scent, and would also be unisex in my opinion (it's not overwhelmingly flowery and has lots of green notes, as well as some earthy notes). I used it to make my first landscape soap (grass with wildflowers, with a mountain and blue sky) and it worked perfectly, it didn't accelerate or discolor. I'll definitely be using this one again! | |||||||

"Must Love The Great Outdoors!" | ||||||
| COMMENTS: This is the kind of scent that speaks to my soul! If you're a lover of the scent of the great outdoors, this is the fragrance for you!! I don't mean some romanticized version of an outdoorsey scent either, we're talkin' the REAL aroma of a meadow in full bloom! This smells so authentic, every time I smell it, I can almost see the tall, lush, green grasses swaying on a warm springtime breeze, while the scent of blooming wildflowers gets caught up on the gentle wind. It's BEAUTIFUL & translates even more gorgeously in CP application! First of all, it behaves perfectly while working with it (No acceleration, ricing, separation, discoloration, nada!), and it's aroma only gets better & better with cure. In the shower, the heat brings out the scent of meadow grasses, but then the sweet, botanical aroma of wildflowers lingers so nicely on the skin afterwards. This FO is an A+++ winner in my book, and to anyone who loves the scent of the TRUE great outdoors, I would highly, HIGHLY recommend it! | |||||||

"Love this" |
| COMMENTS: Used this to make "barnyard" soap from our cows & goats milk. Made white with black spots for a Holstein cow. It smells like you're in a meadow. I pick up hints of fresh cut grass, alfalfa hay, and flowers but not too florally. Buying a bigger bottle this time! | |
