nice

"If you are new to lotion making, like myself, you will love this kit. You will get the hang of mix and matching ingredients at a low price. The instructions were simple. The scent is awesome."

Moisturizing hair cream for curly hair

"I made this product for my own use as Southeast Texas weather keeps my hair frizzy. I love the scent and it is amazing in how it defines my curls. A little bit goes a long way and my hair is not greasy or frizzy. Several of my friends tried it and love it. So I'm definitely adding this to my hair product line."

Q&A

Does this act as an actual moisturizing cream texture, instead of hardening like a butter? Brandon
You can certainly test shea butter as a substitute. Just depends on your preference.
Can this be left in the hair as a leave in?
Yes, this was formulated as a leave-in product.
What makes this for curly hair specific ? can i sub something to make this for non curly hair as well?
While this can be used on any hair type, the combination of Tucuma Butter, Babassu Oil and Argan Butter make for an extra-moisturizing, thick cream that is great for curls. If you wish, you can sub some of these out for a lighter oil/butter.
Can I substitute the Tucuma butter for another butter and if so, which would be best? Would mango or cupuacu butter work? I have all the ingredients except for that butter. Thank you
This is something you have to test, but cupuacu would be a better choice to try!
I already have clear jojoba oil. This recipe specifies "golden" jojoba oil. What would be the difference in substituting clear? Would there be a difference?
There would not be a difference in using clear jojoba oil instead of golden. Either will work fine in this recipe.
