"This fragrance smelled nice, it was soft, but with all the good reviews I figured I would try it. It did NOT last in my cold process soap and I always add kaolin clay to my scents to soak it up, but it has only been about 4/5 weeks and the fragrance is pretty much all gone. I wouldn't buy this scent."

Very strong and musky

"This FO performed amazing in my CP soap. There was very little acceleration and only slight discoloration. They smell is deep and musky and really sticks with the soap. I also used this oil in a rebatch and it was excellent. The sandalwood and amber are the main things you smell here. I think I will add something to sweeten it up a bit next time, but I would highly recommend it."

"This fragrance oil performed beautifully in cp soap. I swirled in green and although it discolors to a light brown, this is the perfect color to match the scent, so I am happy with the discoloration. I am from the Pacific Northwest, and this is just the type of fragrance my customers are looking for. It is ideal for both men and women and has a real earthy, natural scent, without being too hippy. The amber is divine and the clean, comforting aroma is perfect for any nature lover. I am so in love with this scent and plan to buy more. I also used it is soy wax tarts and it filled my house with an amazing aroma. It is a fragrance that will sell year round and I am very happy with it. Big thumbs up!!! A real winner!"

Fabulous Scent!!!

"I started with a 2oz tester bottle of this scent since there were no reviews. I fell in love with it the moment I smelt it! I tried it in Bath Bombs first and the scent stayed true and strong with no noticable discoloration. In perfume oil it had great staying power. After the great results I got with those two products I decided to order a larger bottle to try in cp soap cupcakes. The fragrance does accelerate a bit but nothing horrible. I was able to pour 18 cupcakes and by the last one it was at a soft thick pudding consistency. After about 5 minutes it was at a perfect consistancy for piping and stayed creamy and thick without getting hard. I left the tops white to check for discoloration and they went a soft ivory. Which honestly looked perfect with the soft purple base. I love this fragrance and plan to use it in a body butter and scrub soon. It's such a warm sensual fragrance. I just can't stop smelling it! This one will be in my line for as long as WSP sells it!"

Q&A

I see in a question that this has a bit of vanillin in it, but it is not on the bottle nor in the product description. I used it in clear melt & pour and it made the soap cloudy. Will vanilla stabilizer help the cloudiness?
We have checked with our supplier and updated this information. This fragrance actually contains .30% vanilla. We do apologize this information was incorrect. If using stabilizer, the color will probably remain cloudy.
Can these fragrance oils be used in candles?
You can use Mystical Woods in candles. Most fragrances should be able to be used in candles but you should check with us for any fragrance you are interested in so we can check the IFRA Certificate for that fragrance.
Can you clearly smell the patchouli in this? Looking for something heavy and heady, like a gypsy. lol
This is actually a light scent and the patchouli is blended in nicely. It is not a patchouli-heavy fragrance oil.
I have noticed that vanilla is sometimes a color concern for mp soaps. Does "Mystical Woods" have vanilla content? for the discoloration that sometimes happens with vanilla?
This contains .30% vanilla.
