Can you substitute the Meadowfoam oil and which one would you recommend? Thanks!: The oils used in this recipe are lighter oils that are absorbed quickly into the skin. You can substitute any oil for the meadowfoam but we recommend looking at the properties of each oil to decide which one you would like to use.
I love this formula. I have two questions. First I was concerned about your cancer warning about the inhalation of a product in this formula. How do I protect myself and my family while making this product? Second, I want to change the scent to essential lavender in my next batch with purple "pillows". Can you tell me how much would be okay in this product and if any purple mica would work? Thank you for another awesome product.: The warning is for the Coral Oil Locking Mica Shimmer. You can simply wear a mask when adding the color to your lotion. Once it is blended in, there is no longer a concern. When using essential oils, we recommend using one-third of what the fragrance is listed at. So, you would use 8 ml of fragrance in the recipe. You might try Purple Galaxy Mica Powder for this lotion.
