Product Details

Olive Oil - Pomace is a great product to use in skincare formulations. Production begins by blending the fruit into a paste. Droplets are then pressed from the paste. Remaining paste is called pomace. Use in you handmade soap recipes!

Cold & Hot Process Soap.

Production begins by transforming the fruit into a paste. Droplets are then pressed from the paste. The remaining paste is called pomace. All Natural. Pomace portion of oil is solvent extracted. Oil portion warm pressed and refined without the use of solvents.

Cold & Hot Process Soapmaking Saponification Information:
SAP NaOH .134, SAP KOH .188

"I use this in every batch of cp soap."

COMMENTS: I make guest soaps for a 5 star resort, in addition to having retailers carry my products. There are customers that will 6 to 10 bars at a time, because they do not ever want to be without my soap. I use pomace because it is higher in unsaponifiables, thus raising the conditioning ability of the bar. I really like this coming in the gallon jugs, because they are easy to handle.

If you want to do any designs...just make sure not to over mix...it will harden quick. i stick blend, and stir with a spatula and plastic type whisk (alternating). It does ok for me. I haven't used it yet with an accelerator scent....so not sure how long i will have then. But cheaper and just as good as evoo

"Soapmaking staple"

COMMENTS: Pomace oil, great basic for soapmaking. This pomace is greener than some, making for slightly darker soap colors and needing some titanium or kaolin to brighten for some pastels. I would have given 5 stars but it's a bit more olive-y smelling than I liked-- did not come through in soap, but still could have been a tad less strong smelling to work with. Lathers nicely though, is kind to the skin, and the 4-gallon item is a nice size for carrying.

"Perfect for CP Soap"

COMMENTS: I love to use olive pomace rather than extra virgin olive because it makes my CP soap harder, but still moisturizing. Can't find it locally -- I'm so glad WSP has it, and at a great price! Thanks so much for carrying this.

COMMENTS: This does discore soap a bit , but it feels so good on the skin, it also helps to stiffen the bars. Love this oil.

COMMENTS: I never run out of WSP's pomace olive oil! I have been infusing my own olive oil with many different herbs and teas...they perform excellently in all my soap formulas and have for years now. I've looked at other companies and just keep coming back to WSP for all of my bulk oil needs. This is definitely my choice when it comes to pomace grade olive oil.
