Stick with plastic mold for oval bars!
"This mold is a novel idea but definitely want to pour in sections. because when I used I had filled it with a bunch of pumice filled 1-inch ball embeds, as soon as i filled it . disaster struck , it SPRUNG a leak and all my soap came running out the side what a mess, good idea though."

"I really do like this mold. it makes lovely bars! It is easy to open the mold without marking up the cold process bars. This mold did not leak but i do clip the sides to be sure. Definitely recommend this lovely shape that fits in the hand very nicely! I made cold process and melt and pour with this. A+"
Just a little trick, works wonderful.
"Some people has problems with this mold because of the weigh of the soap. The solution is using severals clips (the type for paper) on both sides to secure the borders and the oval shape. Mainly on the tops. Doing that it works perfect."
