Product Details

Finally a pet shampoo that is gentle enough to use on pets of all ages. Contains ingredients derived from coconut oil.

This product is not on the CA Prop 65 list of toxic chemicals.

This product conforms to the reporting requirements of California Proposition 65 (Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986). We are conforming to the regulation by reporting the existence, or lack thereof, of ingredients deemed reportable by the above mentioned regulations via a Safety Data Sheet (SDS), in Section 15 "Regulatory Information." Ingredients from Natural Food Sources (NFS) and are exempt from reporting in accordance with Title 27, § 25501(a).

This product is regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission and is not required to have ingredients listed on the label.

Directions:

Measure desired amount of base and place in container with pour spout. Add fragrance at 1%. Stir gently but completely to incorporate fragrance. Pour into bottles. Cap and label as desired.

Note: Some fragrance oils may cloud this base. If you would like to cover up this change, we recommend incorporating the Crafter’s Choice Pearlizer and Foam Booster.

We do not recommend adding vegetable or fruit oils/ butters as they will significantly decrease your lather. Aggressive stirring will cause bubbles. Upon use, if your bubbles must be clear. Colored bubbles are an indication of too much color. Too much color may dye animal and pet hair. Each fragrance reacts differently in the base.

"VERY NICE"

COMMENTS: We added colloidal oatmeal and full spectrum CBD into this liquid base. One of our clients shows French Bulldogs and they often have skin problems. This is a light shampoo, rinses easy. We are white labeling for this company and sent a test bottle out. They loved it so much, they ordered more and we are in process to start mfg for them in about a month. CBD really stops hot spots on their skin, but the problem is often finding a light enough base shampoo that rinses easy. Due to this base shampoo, we nailed a contract to make dog shampoos for this company.

COMMENTS: I know that many folks have issue with the ingredients list not being available. I had this issue recently myself, when a customer was concerned that the amount of tea tree oil that may be in the product may harm her pet. I explained that though I have no way of knowing if it IS in there other than the fact that it doesn't SMELL like tea tree oil, I am positive that it would not be in high doses because this product has been safely used on literally thousands of pets. She was satisfied with that response and bought MORE 3 bottles because it had already helped clear up some skin problems her pet had! This stuff is great, I've heard nothing but great things about it since I started selling it to my customers, and I plan to continue to offer it as long as WSP is supplying it.

COMMENTS: I love this pet shampoo base. I have a Therapy Dog and she is required to be clean when we go to our visits. She is a Goldendoodle and has longer hair that is pretty thick. This shampoo is gentle enough to use frequently does leaves her hair nice and soft. This. Lathers up well and is easy to rinse out of long fur. I always get comments on how nice her coat is. The children that she visits read to her and they love to keep a hand on her and pet her. This will remain my go to for her shanmpoo.

COMMENTS: I tested this out on my daughter's Beagle. It felt gentle. It cleaned well. She smelled clean but not perfumed, which is nice. I have not seen any itching or other reactions to the shampoo. So far so good! I will use it on my other daughter's German Shepherd to see how she does with it as well.

"My New "Go To" Pet Shampoo"

COMMENTS: This pet shampoo did not disappoint. Unlike many of the pet shampoos I've used, this base is thick and lathers up nicely. My dog's coat was clean, soft and I only had to use half the amount of shampoo I generally use. There was a slight smell to the bare base but fragrance and additives were easy to incorporate and I ended up with a great product. My only concern and the reason for a star deduction is not knowing the ingredients; I know I will be questioned and it will turn some customers away.

COMMENTS: I bought this shampoo for my baby white toy poodle. It leaves her hair so soft and white. This product is so easy to incorporate essential oils and fragrances. COMMENTS: I have a white Maltese that is allergic to everything. The discovery of this base has changed her life. I dilute it with distilled water and leave it unscented or with a drop of lavender and it leaves her silky and itch free after a mild vinegar rinse. This is great stuff that you can't get anywhere else. I've tried every expensive pet store brand and they are all junk compared to this base. I love it.

COMMENTS: I didn't like that there wasn't ingredients, even my normal dog shampoo has an ingredients list. But, I do love this shampoo, I had to use it the day I got it. My great pyrenees had to come in the house due to low temperatures, but being an outside dog-she smelled awful! So I grabbed my base, added some essential oil, and gave my dirty dog a bath. She was so dirty you couldn't tell she was white, this base really got her clean,white (which I haven't had any luck with other stuff getting her white) and so fluffy! Her fur smells good and is so shiny and soft. I highly recommend this base! Give us and ingredients list and it will be near perfect!

"Great But...."

COMMENTS: Love love love this base...but since there are no ingredients listed I have customers that will not buy it. Would be great to list regardless of it NOT being required. As a customer we do want to know what we are using on our pets. So..I have all these bottles of shampoo that I can not sell...but on the upside...I have probably a few years worth of shampoo for my lil dog. My suggestion is to please list the ingredients so those of us that are selling this product may list if for our customers. Regardless of it being required or not it is essential for us. "My pet's favorite"

COMMENTS: This is an excellent and easy kit to create skin/coat safe pet shampoo. The baby powder fragrance is a wonderful scent for our pets coat, but I also made the shampoo with a few other essential oils, such as lavender, citronella, cypress. I used the shampoo on my own bull mastiff and she remained quite calm during the bath. Although we are not 'required' to list the ingredients on this product, that does not always satisfy my customers who are accustomed to reading product ingredients when they shop. It gives the false impression that "I" am hiding my ingredients. I do manage to work with what information I have.

COMMENTS: My customers like this base and appreciate that a small amount goes a long way. I have tried it on my dogs and do like it as well. I do not like the lack of ingredient list and even though I like the product I am concerned that I do not know what is in it, so I am currently deciding if I want to continue offering this product to my customers.

The ingredients for the pet bases are proprietary to the manufacturer and not required to be disclosed on the label. Since the FDA does not regulate this product you do not need to list the ingredients for your customers.

COMMENTS: This product Cleans & lathers very well. I have a small long haired terrier, and a very small amount was required to wash her. This product cleans as well as it lathers. My terrier is mostly white, after bathing her she was almost as white as when she was a puppy. Her coat was soft and fluffy and smelled nice, didn't have the normal wet dog smell that we have had with other products. I am very pleased and will buy this again.

COMMENTS: I use this base for my pet shampoo...although in my shop, we call it "Pet Sham-Pooch!" I have two different varieties...one made with a blend of essential oils for repelling pests...and one mixed with a fragrance oil just for smelling clean and fresh. They are both wildly popular and I have customers come back for them time and time again. One fun note...I live in Arkansas where we have many hunters, fishermen, campers, etc...and I sell quite a bit of my "Bug Off Sham-Pooch" to them for their own personal use as a body was before they go outdoors. They all tell me that it works wonderfully to help deter bugs, etc.... Who am I to argue with that?!?
