"Just Like Bath and Body Works"

COMMENTS: This is my all-time favorite body care scent from Bath and Body Works, and its absence from the 2024 line because of a lab issue made me start looking for alternatives. I bought some oil from eBay and it was "okay"--acceptable but definitely not the same. Then I found Wholesale Supplies Plus and just got my first order today. Oh. My! I like that there is no unpleasant chemical smell from the oil, and I could smell the scent as soon as I mixed up the lotion. This is most definitely a good substitute, and I will be getting all my oils from this company from now on.

"Doesn't Mix Into Wax"

COMMENTS: First off, this does smell really nice! Glad to see a non-spiced pumpkin option. Unfortunately for me, I bought this to make Fall candles but the fragrance oil won't mix in to my melted wax. The fragrance just stays separated in little oil balls. I did notice when measuring that this oil was the thickest, most viscous fragrance oil I have ever seen. I have been a chandler since 2007, so I know how to make candles. Big time bummer and a bottle of unusable oil.

"Such a shame"

COMMENTS: It smells wonderful but sadly, it's soap on a stick. I soaped cool 86 degrees; I blended barely to emulsion; I used less than the recommended amount; I planned a one color pour, incorporated the colorant before adding FO at the last minute prior to pouring. Mixed it in with a whisk and still, it solidified within a minute, soap on a stick. I couldn't even get it into the mold.

"Wonderful scent but work FAST"

COMMENTS: I used this in my melt and pour soap. I loved the scent but boy do you have to work fast! The FO cause your soap to seize faster than you can turn around. Probably will not buy again as I do a lot a layering and swirl work and this FO makes it almost impossible. Great if you're just pouring in a quick mold though. I just use it in my candle warmer now and it does make the house smell heavenly! Such a shame I won't be using it in soaps anymore.

"Pumpkin Pecan Waffles"

COMMENTS: AFTER reading the product recommendation about NOT using this fragrance in cold process soap I decided to use it in hot process soap. It worked perfectly. At 4 weeks out it still has a great scent to it and has not discolored as much as I thought it would. This fragrance worked well for me and I will buy it again.

"Soap on a Stick"

COMMENTS: This smells so good! But I would never use this again in cold process soap. I have never had a soap seize so quickly! Poured in fragrance and whisked to combine. It seized right on the whisk after less than 30 seconds. I was barely able to get the whisk out. A total loss of 5 lbs of soap. I just turned the container over and a solid mass came out. I still have some left that I may try in bath bombs. So disappointing.

"Just Don't Do It!"

COMMENTS: While this fragrance smells good it is horrible in cold process soap. Talk about a train wreck. Ruined an entire batch of soap. This stuff separated SO quickly and stayed that way. A long time blending with a stick blender got it whipped back together but the second I started pouring in the mold it all separated again. There was no saving this mess. I'm not new to soap making and I have never seen this happen. Used the same recipe I've used all along, soaped cool, did NOT do a water discount and it still was a disaster. I would never recommend this FO for use in CP soap, melt and pour maybe but never CP. I have pictures of the separation but there isn't any place to leave them here.

"Immediately seized in CP soap "

COMMENTS: Granted I’m new at CP soap but this was a disaster. I split the batch of soap in fragrances and not fragranced batches and the no FO batch is doing great.... very fluid pour... but this FO made the rest of the batch immediately seize up. I mixed in the FO and went to pour it and it had freezed up so bad it LOOKED fluid but was frozen solid! Oh my goodness, my first soap fail. Please believe these reviews, it is not good for CP soap.

"A scent from the depths of the underworld "

COMMENTS: This fragrance. I have many things that I could say: it smells great! Just like B&BW. However: what it does to soap. If this scent were only used for soap I would say the creator of this fragrance made it in spite of this company as a final prank before leaving. I mixed it in. What happens next cannot be described as rocking because I’ve never seen anything “rice” like this. It looks like when chocolate seizes. I blend it out. And then I try to swirl my colors. No go. I just dump it and pray that it will be okay and it all falls out IN THE SHAPE OF MY BUCKET. I hurriedly break it up (my soap looks and feels like hot cottage cheese at this point) with my hands and scoop it in, my gloves are covered in oil. I get it in the molds...it looks awful but at least it’s soap right? Oh how wrong I was. The fragrance oil ( I know this since it’s a dark color different from my soaping oils) SEPARATED AND IS NOW SITTING ON TOP OF MY SOAP. Save yourself the money, time, oils, and general well being and just don’t buy this if you’re going to make cold processed soap with it.

"Scrumptious pumpkin scent!"

COMMENTS: Straight OOTB this scent had me so excited! It’s not your traditional pumpkin scent. It’s balanced with warm bakery notes and the slightest hint of maple. However, I would not recommend this one for beginner cold process soapers. As soon as I added it to my batter and started to stir, it became clear that my design plan for this soap would need changed! It accelerated so quickly that I had to plop spoons of it into my mold and used my gloves hand to press it down to get rid of air pockets. It was nearly impossible to stir after just about a minute. No exaggeration! That being said, once it was in the mold and pressed down the best I could... it turned out pretty good. No swirls or fancy designs inside. I made a batch of white unscented soap and piped the “whipped cream “ on top. After just 8 hours, it was hard enough to cut. It smells amazing, but the pumpkin notes faded a bit.

COMMENTS: Smells good OOB, but the pumpkin is lost under the sugar/sweet smell. Don't use in CP soap. Just, no. It riced when added, and while I got that blended out fairly well, as soon as I stopped stirring, it solidified. Nope.

COMMENTS: I used this fragrance for lotions, candles, wax tarts, and melt and pour soap and everything smelled delicious! Even with the WSP melt and pour vanilla color stabilizer, it will discolor to brown but I don't mind in the least. Also, if you make candles with this scent, be sure to incorporate it super well.

COMMENTS: I wanted to eat it ( of course I didnt). It smelled like the best waffles ever. Blends great and doesnt require much. Holds scent. "Squirrelly Goodness"

COMMENTS: This FO is a little chameleon. OOB pecan and freshly cracked walnuts are dominant, second, rum, maybe pumpkin puree, and butter, then lastly, light bakery notes. I do really love it. Good strength. Cold throw gives off the potent nutty notes when you smell close up, and hot throw is to me slightly nutty, but more of a buttery caramel corn and less waffle. Probably the nut notes melding with the salty butter ones. Oddly and wonderfully nostalgic, considering the name.

COMMENTS: Smells amazing in the bottle and in my bath bombs. I do not like any spice so pumpkin pecan was the perfect answer to finding a FO that is pumpkin without that spice! It smells like pumpkin and a sweet, warm waffle scent. There is an ever so faint buttery scent to it from the pecans I assume so altogether the smell was mouth watering. This scent held up strong when used in a bath so I was very happy with that. MMmm just a perfect fall scent!

COMMENTS: This one is a fast mover! Like be prepared to pour your soap because it will be CEMENT in less than 30 seconds. The recipe I used had coconut milk in it and I'm not sure if that made a difference. I was making soap cupcakes and my "frosting" had no coconut milk in it and it still almost seized on me. "Great Smell but DO NOT USE in cold process "

COMMENTS: I love this scent but almost instantly after adding it my soap batter started ricing horribly and seized. I am hoping the entire batch isn't ruined because it does smell amazing. I am thinking that I would like to order more to test it in melt and pour or something else. Smells amazing just not meant for cold process!

COMMENTS: Everyone goes CRAZY For this scent. I market it mainly as a Waffle scent and people find that so unique - plus, who doesn't love waffles? This FO lives up to the waffle name, smelling exactly like the sugary breakfast treat. It's a super strong scent and works amazingly well in candles, soaps, and perfumes.

"This was a nightmare"

COMMENTS: First, let me start by saying that this fragrance smells so amazing and I was really looking forward to using it. I used it in my normal recipe at 3.3% . About 10 seconds after I added the fragrance to my emulsified oils, the batter started to thicken. And it didn't stop. About 1 minute after stirring it in, the batter was riced and seized. I tried to mix in my colors as best I could and tried to "spoon plop" the batter into my mold, but no amount of tapping, banging, flattening could get this loaf to work with me. I ended up just smacking it down with a large spoon and left the soap to harden overnight. I'm not crazy about how my batch looks and won't use it for cold process again. I have about an ounce left that I might try to make body butters with.

COMMENTS: I generally do not like "eat me" scents. However, this is will be an exception to my own rule (HAHAHA)! It is amazing! "Not For Cold Process Soap"

COMMENTS: This fragrance smells wonderful and would probably be great in lotions, scrubs, bombs, and more, but it is NOT for cp soap. I soaped cool, added the fragrance to equal parts oils and used a non accelerating recipe and for about 5 seconds it was ok, it really wouldn't emulsify, then it just curdled and no amount of stick blending could get it back! Now the fragrance has separated out of the soap and a whole 5.5 lb batch is ruined! I would use this fragrance in other products because it smells great. I will try to hot process it, but not holding out much hope.
